Anyone tried Amazon indian ethnic wear? How was your experience? I am planning to buy a saree from Amazon. Few products looks ok from the price when compared to Indian store sarees. Anyone tried it?

I have purchased a saree from Amazon long time ago. But I am not satisfied with the quality of the saree in accordance with the price.

long time ago i bought kurta from amazon. It came all the way from UK 20$ ..simple casual cotton . It was good i say.
these days i have been hunting for saree so i will watch this thread.
I was bought indian clothes from other websites - like etsy for diwali. And it came from india... and some were really bad that ripped in first wear.
For indian clothes ( and other indian stuff as well) online, i would say like expensive is better and less than 50$ is poor quality.
For less than that, its like disposable.

Ohh..I heard the same from other friends too. Those size measurements wasn't matching at all for the actual sizes.

I did buy a saree from pothys. I missed to do the tailoring job from there. They said it takes a while if stitching included. So I just placed my order for an saree and few salwars.

Now I have to find some tailor who does stitch blouses. I see some Desi tailor shops in my city but it's little far. And I really don't have any idea how much do they charge for the blouse. No recommendations from friends for the tailors. So don't know about their work too.

It's a silk saree , so I had to put that end of the saree stitched and blouse piece cut and stitch.
I was searching for some sarees in Amazon and everything had mixed reviews.
