Congratulations @Viswamitra sir! Your post has made me think quite a lot. I have added intention into the mundane social media scrolling I do and remember your words of wisdom for each of the apps. Btw, not sure of the others but Google was supposed to be a play on the word Googol(10 to the 100th power). The number one followed by 100 zeros. Larry and Sergey used the term as an analogy to organizing the information on the World Wide Web. Nowadays, “Google” is used analogously with “searched the World Wide Web”.
@Laks09, Thank you for your congratulatory note. I have learned so much in IL than what I have contributed so far. This site is next to my heart. I came to know about the meaning of Googol from "Who wants to be a millionaire?" as this question was asked for winning $500,000. We look at Google as a semantic search engine that throws out the results understanding the keywords we provide to the search engine. I believe Google has gone far beyond that in its capabilities whether it is viewed as intruding into the privacy of the individuals or not. When two of us provide the same keyword into its search engine, the first page may contain different links to each one of us despite a few being common based on how well those websites were built with algorthms to show up on the first page of a few keyword searches. It is because Google has the history of searches each one of us carried out in the past. May be Google can produce 100 times more results in our research than our physical effort to research something through our five senses. May be in a competitive world, they wanted to have a name that would become unique and different to make it a default browser. Google Chrome has become the default browser and even in usage, we no longer say we searched world wide web but use the term "Googled it". Lastly, the comparison of Google with our scriptures. Google is the nearest I can compare with our scriptures. In Anandavalli in Taittriya Upanishad, the term Bliss is described as follows: As we all know, life's purpose is pursuit of happiness. Our ancients have categorized the various types of joy and happiness that can be experienced. The lowest type is manavaananda, which refers to the pleasure that humans experience in the course of their normal life and which is connected with worldly objects, entities, and matters. Thousand times greater is gandharvaananda or the happiness experienced by celestial beings. Daivaananda is the next higher level of happiness; it is a thousand times greater than gandharvaananda. It refers to the joy experienced by the demi-gods (devas). Far greater than daivaananda is Brihaspathiananda, the bliss experienced by Brihaspati, the preceptor of the devas. A thousand times greater is Prajapatiananda, the joy experienced by Prajapati (in ancient Indian scriptures, Prajapati is the one associated with the practical aspects of Creation). Brahmananda is a thousand times greater than Prajapatiananda, the highest joy that can be measured on a finite scale. You can see what an immense gulf separates manavaananda, which man hungers and normally settles for, and Brahmananda, which he really ought to seek. In other words, the formula is as follows: 1000 times Manaavaanada = 1 Gandharvaananda 1000 times Gandharvaananda = 1 Daivaanada 1000 Daivaananda = 1 Brihaspathiananda 1000 Brihaspathiananda = 1 Prajapathiananda 1000 Prajapathinananda = 1 Brahmananda Therefore, 1 Brahmananda = 1 Zillion Manaavaananda Note: Manaava = Human Brahman = Universal Absolute The knowledge of scriptures will provide the possibility of deriving Brahmananda, a Zillion times more happiness than what our human mind can achieve through its own search of happiness.

Thank you @Mistt for your congratulatory note. You are exceptional in a world filled with youngsters updating their status everyday. My son has no Facebook, Instagram or Twitter account either. He is more interested in YouTube videos that teaches him something. I have all of them but rarely use Instagram. Most of my Facebook posts are life lessons.
