Friendship Everlasting Undying Copied As received. A lesson to learn. My aunt has bees. Today I went to her house and she showed me all of the honey she had gotten from the hives. In one of the can, on top of the honey there were 3 little bees, struggling. They were covered in sticky honey and drowning. I asked her if we could help them. She said we could but she wasn’t sure if they would survive. Casualties of honey collection I suppose. We thought we would anyways give it a try and scooped the bees out of the bucket. We put them in an empty plate and put the plate outside. Because of the honey collection there were bees flying all over outside. We put the 3 little bees on a bench. A little later we saw that they were surrounded by other bees. They were cleaning the sticky nearly dead bees, helping them to get all of the honey off of their bodies. We came back a short time later and there was only one little bee left in the plate. She was still being tended to by other bees. After a little while even she was off flying… Those three little bees lived because they were surrounded by family and friends who would not give up on them, who refused to let them drown in their own stickiness and resolved to help until the last little bee could be set free. “Bee” kind always.
Dear Sir, A very good writeup. It would be interesting to change it into a meaningful story for kids. Regards Uma
