Ponniyin Selvan Re-loaded

I understand your thoughts about kalki.. I dont think kalki portrayed him as womanizer or drunkard. He love only war and fights in the book. Only loved nandini and not any other girls. I dont think loving women is weakness.. And big wars happened only for women(ramayana/Mahabaratha)..
But Mani portrayed him differently. he could have avoided that..

Hope u have read Sandilyan's novels, where they show women in a very different light..
character assassination of every prince and princess..
This is nothing compared to many other many historic novels..

 

Me too having same doubt...

 

According to me, Adithya's murder, Mandhakini backstory, Pattabhishekam,
Only 3 things will be highlighted.. Rest all will be least priority..

 

Manimegalai character wont be there in movie.. or like one scene..
They should have shown in first part itself..
Even kandhamaaran - Vandhiyadevan tiff also not there..
so they will totally remove that portion i believe..

Poonnguzhali family - backstory already removed in PS1
vani (sendhan amudhan mom ) missing..
In book, i really like anirutha brammarayar character..
but movie his character shown in very light way..

And they should have casted parthiban for periya pazhuvettayar and
Sarath for chinna pazhuvettayar..
Chinna pazhuvettayar need to be more powerful..

 

They should have made series like Game of thrones..
I wish someone will do that in future.. not sure..
This story is very worthy one, Hope they will try do more justice in second part..
3 hours may not be enough.. will be like fast race..
