I've benefitted a lot from this thread the past year. Reading the updates was inspiration and reminder enough to be just a little more regular with my exercise, food and other habits. Though, I must say, I am glad the days of hard reset seem to be past. : ) That used to give me tension like watching a match with India needing 15 runs off the last over. : )

I narrowed down my goals to the five below and started on September 15th (the birthday of some lesser known engineers of India and some well-known ones like Sir M. Visvesvaraya). Days 1 to 5 were good. Hoping to update more regularly going forward. Touching 100 days by December 31st would be beautiful.

Goals with minimum time of each:
CBT Course Online 25 min (Self-Help Toons: Self Help Videos About Therapy & Mental Health)
Sorting Stuff 25 min (related to Will and Trust)
Writing 25 min (IL posts do not count)
Exercise 25 min (wiggling toes like a stadium wave will also count)
Tea or Coffee < 2 per day

I lost track of my progress .
My problem is if I get pulled at my current work for something, my mind cannot focus on anything else and it becomes very unrest . I cannot focus on other tasks which demands focus while I'm fine doing other physical work . I sometimes wonder if I ever will be able to get out of my current job. By the time I come back to where I left I find it hard to pick up since everything I'm learning gets lost and I get frustrated. I just sometimes feel like a lost case going in circles. I'm going to be realistic and keep it at 2 hours. All I want to do is consistently put time every day. Hopefully this reset will help.

Ended up going to Hamilton – long and much awaited. Got home only by 11.30 and didn’t do any chanting or writing ☹

    22 Sept 2022

Work Out – 60 mins yoga
    IF - 16 hours
    Water - 2 liters
    Writing – none
    Reading – 15 mins

A rough rough day at school – makes me wonder why I teach. I love my students, but parents…..a totally different story. I didn’t realize how affected I can be with comments but there I was mulling over, mostly as introspection and how to continue to work on that 'sthithaprajna' state

    My soul sister!!!
I wanted to add this as one of my goals but deleted at the last minute as I know till the holidays are over, I cannot focus on that, though sorting is only for removing junk paper form home :)

    Dear @mangaii ,

There is a Kannada song that says "indina dinave shubha dinavu, indina kala shubha kala..." simply put no time is better than now.....start now and do what you can! The beauty of this practice is you can catalog what you already have a habit or start small. I have said a million times half of my goals are what I already do (exercise, IF and water) and the other two are what I am working on! Technically I am working on two goals per day.

Pause take a look at your day - see what you do for yourself, add that and just add one more! Having a word document for everyday updates, including your feelings will help - mine service as a challenge as well as a journal! I share only the things I want to share in public from journaling. It helps.

    You said it right
Start, for 'today' is THE 'auspicious day, time etc'.

    Enjoy this quick rendition -
