I am here to nominate @MadhuRK's response to the thread titled Frustrated!!!. What an incredible and practical response this is for a frustrated mother! I don't have to say much here as her words speaks volume about her confidence and approach to life. She gave full credit to her parents for her upbringing but it takes a lot of self-belief to write something like that to a frustrated mother.

Thank you Viji Jaan for nominating these two fine posts by @beautifullife30:
Response in the thread Silent Treatment
Generally speaking, when the wife is silent, the man takes it as a blessing and goes about his day and week. When the husband is silent, the woman makes her life miserable by letting the man's silence get to her. beautifullife30's response has solid suggestions on how to deal with the silent treatment productively - eat on time, sleep on time, watch usual TV, sing ...

    Life's Just A Beautiful Thing!
What a narration! @beautifullife30, your writing shows an eye for detail, and oh my how much feeling is captured and presented in the words. It is moving-to-college season here and the snippet hit quite close to home.

There are coffee table books... this snippet deserves to be carved into a coffee table plaque. An engraving of the birds on one side and the narration on the other.

What a lovely tribute to teachers in this nominated post! I just read it properly, had only skimmed the thread in the beginning of September.

    My Teachers! by @sociallifein30s

Thank you Laks for nominating and thank you sociallife30 for reminding us of our favorite teachers. Math teachers sure held a special place in our hearts - either we loved them or dreaded them. : ) I had a math Sir who expected us to memorize the multiplication tables from 2to 20, each one till x 20. He used to quiz us randomly in class. What is 16 x 18. : )

The video on page 2 of the thread is such a fond recall by a teacher who loved what she did. At about 2 mins in the video, she says how whenever they started Pride and Prejudice, the students used to insist on no other lessons till that was completed!

Thank you Laks. Swetha's post has reminders that we could use each day. Things we know but tend to push to the back of the mind.

Response by @Swetha52003 in Its Your Job To Motivate Yourself,as No One Will.

These reminders are like "I love you's" from a dear one. : ) We know we are loved, but we so need that reminder.

I noticed that the suggestion to share artwork online included actual places that are good for this sharing. Without such starting points, the plan to "share art online" can remain a plan only. Social media is indeed a great way to connect with people who have similar interests. In fact, somehow FB now only shows me posts from huge groups, and few from my personal friends. : )

Thank you Viswa. Like you, I don't have much to say either. It is a post that should be a sticky in every woman's mind. Forthright, to the point, and filled with solid actionable items.
    Response by @MadhuRK in Frustrated!!!

A few excerpts for those who haven't read the post:
Always stand up for yourself and show them what is the aura and confidence of a self-driven, self-made, assertive, professional woman. Your daughter, especially will see you as a role model who means business and will take a no-nonsense and practical approach to relationships.

and I just loved this one:
Been there, been that. : )

ha ha .. whats with Math teachers and mult tables. ???!!! but now we know that was the basis of it all!

Yes, pride and prejudice was a fun read too.
In my batch , I had the Moonstone. Oh my God we were so smitten by the romance, we imagined ourselves in the girls character (I think Rachel). We kept asking to continue too.
But Pride & Prejudice is another peak altogether. Jane Austen at her best. Perhaps depends on the teacher also to narrate it properly to ensure students enjoyed it that much.
Few students might go and buy other Jane Austens books after this class. Good way to get into reading habit.

Thank you for the nomination. Felt good :)

    Sir/Rihana,
I’d like to get your attention and read @Srama’s latest if you haven’t already - The ‘75 Hard’ Challenge

A plethora of tips for a busy working mom who is also a manager. I’ve always wondered how any of my bosses did anything other than work! Sabi has given the poster some fabulous tips on time management and getting more out of her day!

Compartmentalize is my favorite word! I use it often and follow through with it. I can’t love this tip enough. Compartmentalize and prioritize!

Self care while kids are busy in after school classes is what I did back in the day! It helped my sanity many a busy days.

Goal reduction really helps me. If I don’t get overwhelmed by the number of tasks I have to do, chances are I will do the lesser number on my to do list!

The entire post is quotable! I’d love to nominate Sabi for FP for this post

This is spot on. Sandhya goes into details of whys and what’s in the subsequent section of her post!

I’d love to nominate @1Sandhya for FP for this post!
