these are nice words and post. We all should learn to self motivate however it is hard, some days we keep falling in that black hole and hit the rock bottom, then its time of rise up... these days ( specically for people living aloof or aborad), we do not have others to carry you... or lift you up.
Living in India has these perks that you hardly get time to go down.. so many distractions like functions, events, good things bad things keep the life spicy. Monotony is what causes all this depression after some time.

I feel all sort of things need to be in life, friends, self care, self time, hobbies, siblings, events etc

In my case, i am really busy person at home... doing this that kids, food etc etc etc.. I do not have many friends However after sometime, that going down cycle starts for me. ALso I feel friends make me more depressing sometimes, as we start comparing lives.
Also , i have seen others along with me whose bottom is much higher than mine ( what i mean they feel depress very quickly) inspite of having big friends circle in life, and really nice spouse, family and good background/finacially sound...so many things are just part of personality.
Sometimes people, friends circle pampering us also make us weaker.

    Yep,totally hear you @sanjuruby3

Thats where I feel hobies helps the most or spirituality..but that also does not motivate us all the time..Need to find more and more ways, look for more options.

Whether we like or not,Show has to go on..Thats what is Life I guess :)

So many good suggestions are coming,so..something we can learn from others and use them to motivate us :) and of course,we never know how we are motivating others with our posts :)

How do I deal ..hmmm… My friends say I am very tough nut.. I think they are right, I try not to be too emotional about anything.. Having said that, I am human too.. Somethings that helped me so far ,
    1. Make yourself a priority. Yes, kids and husband are important, but if you have a bad day or worn out and exhausted, don’t afraid to make yourself a priority. Go for a shopping, or if you like outdoors, go for a hike or even a long walk alone or with friends or go for a swim.
    2. I know social media can be evil sometimes, because we tend to compare our lows with someone else’s highs..But social medias can be helpful to connect with similar interest people. Did you think about sharing your artworks online ? Instagram and fine arts America site is a good start. Also wetcanvas is an engaged community of artists. You may think think about your artworks as just a hobby and not for monetary benefits.. But there is nothing wrong in sharing your work with a bigger audience. After all we are humans and we all can do with some recognition and appreciation.
    3. I like to go wander around a book store. Read any book, autobiographies or childrens books or romance, reading allows us to slow down and escape into someone else’s story. I like to read with my child too, his favorite now a days is Dog man series. Trust me they are so funny :) Join any book club of any genre you like and actively participate in it.. a good way to release stress in my opinion.
    4. Eat healthy, never ever neglect your health. Sleep a lot. After reading, you can say sleeping is my favorite hobby :) As Beautifullife said above, I always wake up from a sleep rejuvenated !
    5. Learn to say no. It’s always great to help others with your time and resources, but at times, too much of it can drain your energy without you even realizing it. So learning to say no graciously is very important. Always take your ample time to relax and recharge .
I read your other thread too.. You have enough reasons to feel stressed out. But I can say you are doing good. Other posters also gave wonderful suggestions in that thread. Try to follow all the suggestions that are practical to you. I hope you keep making wonderful paintings! Good wishes and best of luck, dear !
