I guess very sight of long post in reader or and asker skip certain passages. Long posts with lengthy paragraphs in smallest font often results in shorter attention span! Even posting in smallest font often causes difficulty inconvenience in re-read and editing . I ditto here with ref to attention span if the reader vis a vis the font used for the post/FB. That is precisely the reason for me to come out with use of higher fonds in my posts or and responses. I doff my hat in your direction for the generous comments/observations about responses by @hastro & I. I do not know from where or why i get impelled to provide useful comprehensive response so that the asker or the reader gets a feel “ load off her or his chest” or their mood harmonised and elevated to a comfortable level. I must say the aim is toward their discomfiture any diminished or eliminated! I am glad that you would think of coffee post of @hrastro & I whenever you order (or make) this beverage. Regards. GOD - would His Consort wake Him Up with °coffee?
Dear my philosopher pal Viswa, Thanks for nominating my “dung” & your liming the description of character Subhadra in the post.
@Rihana, I am here to nominate @hrastro's response How To Understand My Teen. What a delight it is to read her responses! She gives invaluable suggestions with examples for the parents and he explains the rationale behind her thoughts. What an asset she is to IL!
I would like to second the nomination of Viswamitra's Dung, Devotion & Dangle by @Thyagarajan. It was so good and so touching. No words to explain.
I would also like to second the nomination of @Thoughtful for the response made by @Thyagarajan "Filter Coffee" which would be liked by all the coffee lovers.
Thank you dear sister maalti for seconding the nomination by my philosopher stalwart friend Mr Viswa. In simple words yet so sweet you had expressed your joy in reading that Krïsnā story. It is heralding the gokulashtami or and janmashtami during combined nights of 18/19 th Aug which is 10 days away. Regards. God Bless us All. GOD - You Do Share Available Butter to All - Yet We Crave For More.
Dear ms Maalti, in the same breath you had chosen to second another nomination by Mr Thoughtful . I had in my reverie vicarious enjoyment of serving the brew to mr thoughtful, Rihana & to you. Your seconding sure adds to additional flavour that wafts in air to sister @Rihana & Every other follower of ours in IL. Thanks & Regards. GOD - when consort toss the beverage between brass dawra & Tumbler at close proximity, It ought to be heavenly.
@Rihana I am here to nominate @Srama's response to @happygirl How To Understand My Teen. Many parents have made invaluable contribution here but she included some critical inputs that would be of great help to the parents. When the parents treat the teens like a grown up adult, engage in their activities, find ways to spend time alone with them, share some insight about their own childhood and the lessons learned, ask questions about the problems the children encounter and ask what they think is the solution, etc. really makes child's life better. They feel they are not constantly judged. When a decision is taken by them with conviction based on their interaction with the parents, they own them instead of something thrusted on them.
Thank you for bringing this post to FP, Viswa. Dung, Devotion & Dangle by @Thyagarajan Devotion and worship come in many hues and forms. Thyagu's vivid narration makes for a heartwarming and timely reading -- from the alliterative title to the dreams and to the thoughts that stay in our minds long after reading the snippet.
Self obsession, self confidence, self care, loving yourself, me-time, oxygen mask on yourself first ... how do we practice these, do we practice, how much are questions that often come to our mind. The answers are not fixed and change as we change too. Yet another thought-provoking snippet from @HariLakhera Positive Side Of Self Obsession. Thank you for the nomination, Viswa.
