    Hi @Rihana

    I am here to nominate @HariLakhera's wonderful snippet Positive Side Of Self Obsession.. He is relentless in sharing his thoughts that would clear the air in the process of transforming oneself. When you bottle up these questions is when one doesn't make spiritual progress. He asks questions that everyone should ask to clear all the doubts in their own mind. I really liked how he responded to my question as well. He is a great thinker and a wonderful writer.

    @Rihana,

    I am here to nominate @Thaygarajan's fiction Dung, Devotion & Dangle. We have heard about Meera's, Radha's and Gopika's devotion so much and this fiction makes me wounder how many such unheard of devotees exist in this world silently worshiping the Lord. Subhadra's devotion is exception and more so because of captivating description by Thyagarajan Sir.

    Response by @hrastro in Are Sindoor, Mangalsutra A Choice Or Regressive?

    Where do I begin? :grinning::grinning: In Hindi movies, the defense or prosecution attorney often starts speech with "Mere Qaabil Dost ..." (My Qualified Friend...") to refer to the other side attorney.

    HR's response shows how we can keep the good parts and distance ourselves from the parts that have outlived their usefulness. I brought up the points of social responsibility and the role of women with agency and freedom to bring about change. I have to quote HR's fine counter:
    "What about our collective responsibility to our civilisation and our ancestors who have followed and fought against all kinds of unimaginable terrors to keep a tradition alive for more than 5000 years ?"

    There's nothing I like more than a strongly debated thread. HR's posts in the thread are the kind I always wish to read. One goes away with lots of food for thought.

    @Thoughtful, it is so nice to see nominations from you this month too. Please do continue to be a regular here.
    Responses by @hrastro and @Thyagarajan in the coffee thread
    Filter Coffee (hrastro)
    Filter Coffee (Thyagrajan)

    Both HR and Thyagu's posts often remind me of the most generous and kind, helpful folks from my hometown. If a person asked them for directions to a place, they would pause their work, give full attention to the asker, and provide detailed step by step instructions. As the asker would start to go away, they would end up accompanying them to their destination. : )

    I have filter coffee only in restaurants but I will always remember these nominated posts whenever I order one. Reading those posts was so real-life like, if I closed my eyes, I could almost smell the coffee.

    Response by @Gauri03 in the thread:
    Anyone Have Experience With "the Secret"

    Over the years, many of my friends have raved about the Rhonda Byrne book. I even read a few pages once. I never found the right words to tell my friends what I thought about it. : ) Now I have the words. : ) As a side benefit, after reading Gauri's post, I went and read up Kabir Das ke dohe after a long time.

    Thank you for bringing this post to FP, Thoughtful. Gauri's posts can be nominated for FP, however they are not considered for winner per her request.

    I also want to acknowledge @SuiDhaaga who started the thread. Without these questions and threads, we wouldn't get such responses.
