Day 45: 4-Feb-2022 Met all my cousins in a small get together. Due to the pandemic, we could not meet eachother. Day 46: 5-Feb-2022 Its is an achievement to see the younger generation people moving to new heights in the career who are trained under us and acknowledge that they did learn good work. Got a call from my old collegue and very happy for her. Day 47: 6-Feb-2022 Got back to my routine on the morning exercise today after couple of days.
Day 2 Lot of distraction, lot of stress. Managed to stay focused on Project Management spreadsheet. Studied 18 minutes, which is better than 0 minutes.
Day 48: 7-Feb-2022 Got some time to go for a walk yesterday. Happy that i could spend more than an hour excercising.
Day 49: 8-Feb-2022 Today accompanied my kid to the dance class nd saw her progress. Happy that i did. Day 50: 9-Feb-2022 My sibling shared an article or some work what an NGO is doing. Felt very happy reading it and the reassurance that we choose different options to give back to the society.
Day 1 : 17-Feb-2022 Though i know what is my contribution to the family or the company, sometimes i long for the acknowledgement. Yesterday the company where i work acknowledged the work.
I had like 24 tasks in my "to do list" for the weekend. And as I come to bed I thought I'll see how many tasks I completed and it is 18/24. So I just have 6 for the Sunday. And I'm clapping For myself.
Mom's here. Every morning before I leave for work or disappear into WFH meetings she chases me with a plate of parathas, telling me to eat. It is an alien feeling having someone else worry about what and when I eat. It's quite a feat to blink back tears as she rants about how little I eat. Blame it on the allergies. The damned pollen. After two weeks of being made to eat breakfasts I have realized two unassailable truths: No one will love you like your mother does, and parathas are the only divinely ordained way to start your day.
This is my first post in this thread. My daughter scored 97.6 percent and stood third in her school in her 10th board exams. I felt shy to post a separate thread but at the same time wanted the IL people to know hence chose this thread. Since I have asked many academic doubts and have also sought help for few other problems regarding my daughter in this forum and have always got help, its only fair i update. Thank you all.
