For the ex-pats Have any of you ever has a happy experience. traveling to India. Enjoyable such that when you returned home you think, "Wow, I had a great time!" So far, I have seen people - who got heartbroken in India - whose family broke apart - who got sick in India Certainly there must be people who visited India and on their return felt happy, bright-eyed and bushy tailed.
if you know already where and who are not going to suit you, just avoid visiting those places and them. Getting sick can be taken care by eating home made food, if you have somebody to cook or give their kitchen for you to cook as per your health needs. It applies if you don't eat outside food and it makes you ill. Usually if you eat only cooked food you should be ok, start slow instead of trying several items same day. Avoid chats/juices etc where water (not boiled) could be an issue. I had some visits good, few heart broken. Same people behaved differently on different occasions.
See I enjoyed the airplane ride, but as soon as I got off, that is when things got out of control. We were meeting people for the first time. On a separate note, our relatives in India are estranged. They have been brainwashed by a BIL (who is a grandfather himself )of the family. So I dunno where I will visit. I just want to take the same flight on the same date, celebrate my birthday, possibly celebrate Diwali. I wish to stay for a month, then I will happily come home and also enjoy the flight home.
It depends Most get sick in India If you have loving family back in India. You will make happy memories. Most wnjoy shopping/food in India
I think you are right I see so many vlogs on people flying air india and it brings back good memories of while I was in the plane.
You can go as a tourist the places of your interest, like kashi or Bombay as per your taste. stay in a hotel, if you have relatives in the same city , visit them for couple of hours, Don’t eat street food, to avoid getting sick.
