Major management principles are eloborated in Thirukkural. I have done a study for
long time to match the principle with the relevant Kural. I was at agog about our literal treasure thirukkural.

I enjoyed your entire speech and I liked the emphasis in your tone. You had almost sapped the juice in full strength that blend with the title leadership.

I have three hand books of Thiru Kural *tamil- English. There are very many good books paraphrasing each kural in an elaborate manner. Available in pdf too.
    It is Ulaga- podhumarai.

I was wondering of the practice of prefixing holy or unholy or not holy names - the word THIRU. Is it symbolic of respect or reverence? Or is it to indicate a veneer of Bhakthi or devotion?

    God Bless.

    Dear Madam,
I was listening to your lecture on
"Management and Thiruvalluvar".It was quite absorbing. You have covered
almost all the points quoting inter alia from epics and politics and SWOT Mechanism too.

When we visited Harvard University of Management Sciences,a prof asked me" You look like Indian. Do you knoe AANOO MAN'. I thought he was talking about
some SUPERMAN. When I was blinking he made a ref to Ramayana.I woke up.He was referring to Hanuman.
For the past 20 years Management Degree has become a coveted one whichever field you enter. If you glance at the syllabi of all management schools, there is a reference to Indian epics and literature and their association with Management science. They specially talk about the activities of Hanuman, Ravana, Indrajit, Draupathi,Arjuna and Krishna. Now Harward mangement students know more of Indian epic charaters.I have carefully gone through the management texts of International universities.

Why to talk of Thiruvalluvar and other literary giants?
Take the Chief cook in a wedding. He is more an MBA having all types of mangements-Planning, Time, Guest Control Product, management of unexpected arrival or absence of guests and transformation of of Sambar into rasam, conversion of ill prepared sweet into some other payasam and so on.Every lunch and dinner is an examination to him. He has to prove his credentials always. No thinking of postponing.
Real estate planning also is very critical. Once done, cannot ge undone.

    Now there is management everywhere.
Even earlier it was there. But we talk about it a lot in this
    management era.
That is a brilliant take Madam. Well done.Congrats.

Thank you, Madam for taking your time to listen my speech. Happy to know about your acquaintance with the Harvard! Yes, our literary characters teach us more life lessons than our school education system.I like the way how you explained the role of a cook as a management expert. How sambar`s transformation into rasam reminds me that each and every woman of the house plays the manager role in multidimensions.True, even earlier it was there. But now a days people need authenticated connections with the trend. Thanks for listening and providing a thoughtful feedback!
