I happened to watch this short video and I was wondering is this a common thing that goes on in a woman’s life? Makes me feel depressed!

Part of it is true, you agree to being controlled by others to some extent when you marry. Other hand the benefit of being happily married like kids, company, security etc. is not shown here. Overall video is missing all the effort of men around her who manufactured gas stove, pressure cooker gave her the job as relationship manager etc. True, she had to give up dancing and part of her identity, but she is doing quite well as a wife.

But this is a better one. Wish all mother in laws are like this.

Why do you say a man gave her the job.
She has studied, passed the interview and got the job on her merit.

These are the Magnificent Women Scientists who powered India's Mars Mission. Hopefully these ladies can also manufacture a gas stove or pressure cooker in a pinch for use on earth.

If you have Netflix, watch "Zindagi inShort", an anthology of seven stories, each about 20 mins long. Zindagi inShort (TV Series 2020) - IMDb

"Pinni" (Neena Gupta) and "Sleeping Partner" are the better ones.

Even in the west Since the advent of agriculture most women have been confined in the role of home caring. What can you invent without having an education or Without knowing how to read or write?
Women have largely been expected to raise babies, and usually a lot of babies. This is not only a huge drain out of the day, but it's a huge drain on the woman's body, with many dying in childbirth.

I honestly don’t know what people are trying to prove anymore! Also these people who make these videos.

I am working outside now and been a homemaker for years. So I feel am in a position to clarify.

This society wants to prove as though all housewives are living a subdued life and they are treated badly.Maybe outsiders do that coz they want to feel superior but not for everyone their husband is bad or children think of them any less.I was treated like a queen by my husband it is not like my husband even cares if I make money or not. There are many women who are housewives and live well. Why shouldn’t they?

Also when Mira rajput condemned working woman..entire India lashed out at her. What she said was not right but everytime a homemaker is being put down..why isn’t anyone supporting her? What all words are used against a homemaker.Where are all those voices?

Instead of making her feel fine..making videos like this, making her feel even more low is not support.Unfortunately even women who have wonderful lives and husband succumb to this and lose their mind.It is unfair.

It is not like all working women have wonderful lives.Ofcourse many are doing wonderful but unfortunately there are also many who have a husband who torment them and that is when the job or some financial background or other support gives them security.even otherwise it is not like a woman will resort to some sort of thing if she is stranded. Many are capable of finding something and managing.

Maybe we won’t be rich but definitely manage.

Also definition of an identity is not a doctor or a software engineer. That is why many are miserable once they retire. Identify someone coz they are nice, they are a good person,by their character or what they did.Job is not an identity. This life is too short to label ourselves and no one knows what happens next. This identity thing itself is a farce.

So women…be it a housewife or who is working outside can be happy and be treated well or vice versa.

Also not all men are bad.Atleast 10 percent are good..really good.

Confidence is how we see ourself!! Our perception.

the world has this power struggle ,trying to feel superior and that they are doing the right thing by putting another person way of life as wrong.simply want to brain wash everyone into portraying what is right and what is wrong.

each one’s life is their choice.

People can be the most richest and have the best career and still feel miserable.

people who are very simple and have nothing can still be happy.

One should not get brainwashed blindly into believing these YouTube stories. It happens but not true for everyone.

Whoever wants to go and achieve ..great..! Go ahead.Whoever wants to stay back at home ..super! It is awesome if it is of your choice.Achievers should actually think of it as less competition .Everyone has potential right?:sunglasses:

Anyways..just poured my heart out and didn’t mean to hurt anyone.Sometimes people need to know the truth and I hate videos like this.

Maybe I should make a video of a happy homemaker :) will make it a future plan

My question is this more common in India or it’s just how the whole world is! ?
