Okay..answers like my parents,my puppy and my first born, celebrities please excuse :D

this is a fun thread. Why I started it?

Today..I went on FB and I did not get a request but a friend suggestion. It was my first crush from high school!

I am not kidding but my heart skipped a beat! I am in my 7 donkey years and felt a rush of excitement and happiness.I just went through the profile and boy! He has changed a lot! The profile pic should have been some
Few years back:) Now he has lost all his hair which is a different story.yeah looks become different as we grow older but it was a happy feeling which brought back fond memories.

I met him in high school.I knew this person from 9th grade but never felt any different. My friends found him handsome but I always wondered if something was wrong with their taste:D .I don’t know how things changed but in 11th grade..one day I had to face him and ask something and his eyes were so sharp and Cupid’s arrow hit me!

I was super excited and I remember that was the day all my beauty treatments and the true pursuit of beauty started.I was in front of the mirror all the time, could not focus on anything and found this guy to be the most handsome. One of my friend knew about my crush and that fool spread this amongst my classmates which I later came to know.

Everyday I was eager to go to school. To study? No way! To look at him hee hee.Everytime after I get scoldings from my teacher for some nonsense I did..one look at him threw my sorrows away! The power of love :grinning:

This went on for two whole years! I kind of felt this guy also liked me and both of us never had the guts to confront each other. It was always eye to eye looks.

I was so jealous if any girl speaks to him.She became my worst enemy:rage: lol. So anyways..
Life was beautiful and 12 th grade came to an end.

The last day ..never got to meet him:(

Anyways after 20 years..an FB suggestion? Nice to know he is happily married and settled in Australia with a beautiful child.

It’s good we never got together coz I like men with hair and he is now totally bald
    Just kidding.

Anyways first crush faded away very quickly after school. In another two years..I had any second crush!! That’s another beautiful story.

    Just felt like sharing..

I hope I am allowed in this thread.

I am reminded of the dailogue from Maddy-Jo movie "Dum Dum Dum"....."Neenga olarina, naangalum olaranuma"....J/K :)

When I was small, I had this history of falling in love/having a crush on any girl who fought with me. You can imagine how many crushes I would have had in my life :)

My first crush was my hindi teacher. She scolded me one day when I was in fifth grade and became my first crush. She was so pretty and single :) I can still remember how she looked that day. Loose hair, Green saree, a small vibudhi kungumam in her forehead . I hope she is happy wherever she is....Engirundhaalum Vaazga!!

Firstly I didn’t know you were a guy:) and secondly anyone can write to this thread no problem.

I feel there is no harm in sharing our first crush and I never gave any details of who that person was and his ID:)

it’s totally personal wish to share or not.no worries

Crush on classmate or other students were there but a crush that I recall more fondly: on a maths teacher in 9th grade or so. He must have been about 25 or 26, couple years experience in a neighboring school and then came to ours with a reputation for being a really cool teacher.

Fair, very tall, handsome, good build, thick hair combed back in a different style. IIRC it was slick but not due to parachute oil. His moustache was different than what was the style in those days. He let the hair grow a bit more and it drooped on the left and right like a graceful trapezoid with one side missing. I was good at math. He discussed math problems with us outside of class time, took us to a few competitions or something, and broke our hearts when he flirted openly with the unmarried lady teachers. : )

The epic memory is however after one exam's grades came out, a classmate and I went to him with our verbal petition. One tough word problem in the exam was verbatim a copy of a textbook problem. There was a missing line or words in the exam question. The teachers decided to give all students full marks for that problem. This friend and I knew the problem by heart : ) and had solved it fully. We argued with him that it was not fair to us. He did his best to explain it to us, waving the chalk at us, and shaking his head many times. I fell a little more in crush with him because he took our arguments seriously enough.

He wore neatly pressed shirt and pants. His favorite color was a dark brown pant and pista color shirt. And always a white handkerchief. In boring classes like geography, we used to look out our classroom window at him writing on the blackboard of a classroom across the verandah. : )

ETA: I read the two posts above this post after posting this!

Have you ever looked her up in google or social media? : ) My maths Sir, we only knew him by his first name or maybe it was last name. And it is a very common South Indian name. How does one google "Venkatesh Sir"? : )

No.. venkatesh is only an example, not his name. !! : )

I haven't looked her up online yet. But now that you have mentioned it, I am getting a strong desire to do so.

But I wonder....do I want to see how she looks now vs keep that image of a beautiful young person from memory.

I have the same problem...only remember the first name.

I think the best way to find them is to find fellow students and reminisce and someone will know.
