What is the safest way to store electronic copies of yiyr financial statements. I know banks are super paranoid about security and if tiny eant, you can log in any time to see yiyr statements. Bur what if you want to hold onto your own electronic copies in personal storage, ie not the coins. Because you never know, in case of a catastrophe, Internet may go down (far away counties are at war, we should count our blessings in these scary times) I was thinking if getting separate computer that had ZERO access to the Internet. I believe this is one if these, duh! Life skills questions again. Ladies and agents please advise!
What you surmised seemed to be likely if war situation gets further aggravated. Because submarines are in deep sea (black) might reach other seas where internet cables are submerged . If they*are damaged, the net would kick the bucket! *Ninety-nine percent of international data is transmitted by wires at the bottom of the ocean called submarine communications cables. In total, they are hundreds of thousands of miles long and can be as deep as Everest istall.
Certainly I will back up to external hard drive. I was thinking along the lines of turning off wi-if before I access saved financial statements I’d be scared to back up financial statements to the cloud. I guess the big financial institutions have a special agreement with cloud providers on how to secure customer data.
