you are right. I kept waiting and hoping we can re-do match in India. Then circumstances and COVID happened.

Now I am learning to resume my life before I had to do matrimonial match.

Few months prior to putting ad, I was a smiling young lady who kept productive, loved her job. Even a consultant expressed interest in me. Had I not done matrimonial match, I think our friendship followed by relationship would have developed organically.

Now I am teaching myself to get back on track.

Right now there is another Man (a bit older than me though) who I notice keeps looking at me when I pass him by. He doesn’t work on my floor, and there are a million reasons why this can happen. Like, literally his head turns.

I’ve seen him since even before the matrimonial disaster. Anyway, I’ll get some guidance in a different thread later on.

I want to do, because nothing will come on my lap.

You are correct, language learning takes time, discipline, lot of practice.

after I stopped practicing foe a while, I forgot sine of the subtle script notation.

and for discipline I am posting my study timings in IL.

Beautiful, beautiful. I love your idea of memoir type questions ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

I need to carve out some time fir Thespis, these are the same people who encouraged me to study all these computer certifications and aim fir PhD in Computer Science.

Lol, I need to find a time to slow down to etch these beautiful memories in our hearts

    this is interesting

I mean your whole post is always interesting and insightful.

What struck me was when you said that we tend to limit what we tell to people who are known to us, but therapist is trained to be non-judgemental.

Ok, this makes lot of sense.

Will continue my search then with that in mind.

Honestly I’d forget about ‘boy from India’ if I were you.
I used to think differently that Indian is best, our people our culture but my kids disabused me of that. India and Indian worked for me because I grew up in India but not for those grew up outside India. They have more in common with their white or Asian classmates and friends than with their cousins back in India.
Now I firmly believe best partner is one with whom you have something in common, maybe similar family background, like working father housewife mother, or grew up in a big city or whatever it may be. That causes similar experiences and gives rise to similar expectations in my opinion. Even if the boy doesn’t speak your mother tongue if he grew up in the same city and a similar environment you will have more in common imo.

Let me know if your maatru bhaashe or native language is Kannada. I conduct free online classes for kids and adults. We go slow but all my students enjoy the class.

Only in the last few months I finally forgot about getting matrimonial from India.

    1. There is no commonality other than Mother-Tongue
    2. There is plenty of room for fraud and abuse
