@Rihana - You spoke about Parachutes and our dear @Vedhavalli comes here with an awesome start of 2022 update. I always love posts that outline how IL has helped someone and made their life better. How can I not nominate Vedhavalli’s post Positive Vibe For My Tribe for FP! I love this quote. Real peace comes from within. It’s empowering to understand and implement this!
Hi Rih, My second nomination for this month goes to @nuss's Self Love And Personal Growth. I liked her well written blog and I felt some lines are very true.
@Rihana I havent nominated any article in ages.... But due to this nomination by @Mistt I clicked and read this article - and I agree with Mistt ! I loved the thoughts expressed in the article Self Love And Personal Growth by @nuss It struck a chord with me and is making me introspect on the life lessons Please count this as my nomination for Finest Posts of this month! Keep smiling HR
@Rihana, I am here to endorse the views of @Mistt and @hrastro of nominating @nuss' Self Love And Personal Growth. She is remarkable in many ways and her snippet gave away her secret of why she is so successful in her life. I was pained to know about how much it hurt her when she heard she failed in her marriage from one of the ILites. I hope ILites understand how a casual comment could have a deep impact in someone's life. Luckily, @nuss has enough in her to overcome this situation through her self-love.
Dear @Mistt @iyerviji @hrastro Thank you for the nomination! I am honored! Dear @Viswamitra ji- thank you for nominating the wise words of @Mistt and @hrastro I also wanted to mention that I never felt that I failed in my marriage. No, I didn't! I didn't compromise with my self-respect to have a social status. If someone looks down at me because I chose my self-respect and happiness over social norms, that is their thinking. What hurt me in that comment was that from an Indian perspective everything I have done in my life boils down to one thing- I am divorced so nothing else matters! Then again, they don't know me and make their opinion of me based on the little snippet of my life- which is fine!
I know you don't. I perhaps phrased it incorrectly. I meant to say how the word someone used in IL could be hurtful. No way, life will boil down to one action and if that is the case, no one would survive. I have nothing but admiration for everything you already are.
Thank you Mistt. I was so happy to see this excellent post as the first nomination of the year. Response by @Vedavalli: Relocation Confusion So much experience and wisdom presented so crisply. "A happy mom only can raise happy child." True. As that famous song line goes: "If mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy."
Thank you Viswa for nominating this lovely and light-hearted write-up by @meenasankaran: Are You Ready To Unmask? As we step into year three of the pandemic and the kind Dr. Fauci says "just about everybody will eventually be infected with the omicron variant of the coronavirus", we badly need humor to get us through these tough times. And @meenasankaran has given us that in ample quantity in the snippet. We can all relate to that DIY phase of sewing masks, the months with no parlor visit and forgetting how people look outside Zoom!
@Rihana I am here to nominate Smt. Jayasala's Is Every One Unique?. She does fully justice to a topic by providing both sides in clear terms in a flawless way making a possible response only as a summation instead of bringing an additional point.
