    James Clear author of Atomic Habits is offering a 30 day email-based course on habit formation. I know many here are fans of the book so I thought folks might want to give it a try. At most it will clutter your inbox though he does promise no more than 11 emails. It's a free course. : )

    I was lurking around here after coming back from vacation on Sunday :) ! I was doing 1 hr walks and intermittent fasting pretty much all days even on vacation. I am going to start again afresh with below habits that I am classifying into 2 categories:

    Mind:
    1. Meditation - 15 min
    2. Journaling
    3. Reading before sleep

    Body:
    1. Exercise - 45 min run or 1 hr walk or 1 hr yoga class or 20 mins strength related workout
    2. Sleep - 7.5 - 8 hrs ( aim to go to bed by 10 PM)
    3. IF (16:8)
    4. Limit caffeine

    @Gauri03 thanks for the tip on atomic habits. I have signed up too..

    @Srama May I ask what time do you sleep or always have been in the past ? My biggest issue is with time management and variety of things I need to shift from and to day-to-day.. It wears me out. On a good day when elder one goes to school at 6:30 AM and younger one goes to daycare at 8:30 AM this is what my morning routine looks like:

    5:30 AM
    Wakeup, brush teeth, put on workout clothes, make myself little presentable
    Prepare breakfast and pack lunches for both the kids (keeping the little ones ready in advance )

    6:30 AM
    Drop off elder one for school van pickup
    Go for a run straight from the drop off for 45 mins

    7:15 come back and have coffee in peace

    7:30 Get little one ready and help with breakfast ( I will spend good 45 mins to 1 hr with her else she will feel rushed and ends up in bad mood)

    8:30 Husband drops off little one , I shower quickly and get ready

    9:00 AM log in to work

    On the days I have yoga class it gets little complicated:

    6:30 AM - 7:00 AM - light stretch and have coffee
    7:00 - 8:00 AM - Get little one ready
    8:00 - 9:00 AM - Yoga class
    9:00 AM - login to work , freshen up during break(max 15 mins) ( stinks but the best I can do for now !)

    I eat my brunch after 11AM mostly or if not hungry just push it to as late as possible..
    I drink loads of water, green tea and flavored vitamin mix (calorie free) until I break my fast

    This morning routine ticks of below things on my list:
    1. Taking care of kids in the morning
    2. Getting breakfast ready for family and packing lunches for kids
    3. Exercise
    4. Intermittent fasting
    5. Drinking plenty of water along with only one black coffee( without any sweetener or cream), 2 -3 green teas

    In this running around I dont feel like doing meditation in the morning and honestly this is a new habit and does not come to me naturally.. I am inspired by what you said but at a loss how to tweak my mornings better. I have to keep tweaking this until both my kids leave school at same time and leaving me some more time in the mornings.

    Day2 is also going well, but will post once the last leg is also done.. fingers crossed
