Anyone Watched Meenakshi Sundareshwar Movie?

Sanya Malhotra (Meenakshi) always appeared in a perfectly draped Saree, who ever did her costume did a great job.

 

I watched it only to find out how it is. This is my personal opinion, I maybe wrong. I felt it was slow and boring. Adding Tamil to the dialogues and wearing lungi and sari is not showing Tamil culture. Why they put the Madurai element is beyond my understanding. Software industry does not at all work like the way shown in the movie. Could have very well made it with hindi speakers. It would have worked out better.

 

Ranchu this was something I was thinking of. Especially in weddings and any festival and occasions. That is not just in TN but also across Kerala Karnataka n AP too. We would get nicely from our parents !!

 

I felt there were quite some inconsistencies, in South India, handling family business is not that important. No way that the families could not figure out a mix up during marriage proposal. And what was it about Lucknow accent in between. Why did that come up even? That's why I mentioned could have been made with hindi speakers as well. Also, the main character eating ice cream and offering the same container to sis-in-law, big time goof up I felt. But I can't vouch for it. It has all the elements of a North Indian story, not South Indian.
