I am trying to understand this Dolly Jain tutorial,

So far, I can do basic tuck to the length I want, i.e below my ankles, NOT TOUCHING THE GROUND.

But then when she. does her pleats, they touch the ground. They seem lower than the saree from her basic tuck.

Is it gonna look horrible if the pleats as slightly above the ground?

BTW I plan to wear jelly sandals with saree, https://www.amazon.com/Domucos-Womens-Sandals-Hollow-Loafers/dp/B07C8ZTYGH/

Unless you live in a city prone to flash floods, pleats too above the ground look horrible. Bridge the gap.

Ok then will have to keep as low as possible without sweeping the ground.

It seems we should have zero expectation of the saree being clean.

I see tutorials where it is on the ground before being draped on.

Then I see tutorial on how to walk in saree and it involves kicking it (with shoe, that is not the cleanest of clothes)
