Thumb Sucking In Toddlers

My baby was entering in to her 3rd year and now a days she was sucking her thumb very curiosity and not ready to leave , normally once she sleeps she just removes her thumb and wil sleep now she was not at all allowing to takeout and sucking with sounds ,which leads the gap in upper jaw of her teeth and she totally stopped to play ,always she wants to slp on bed with fingers..(once I left the bfeed she wants to smoothen by touching our hands and wil keep finger in her mouth and I bought FERMITE solution and applied but just for one wash it's gone and no effect of medicine,can anyone suggest me how to apply it and how to stop her

my toddler has always been sucking his thumb whenver in stress/ tired and specially on bed. Whole night or nap... he keeps sucking and makes sucking noises as well....Doctor advised against using bitter oil kind of traditional methods.
One day he got hurt on his thumb and we put bandaid. So now when wd put his thumb in mouth, he either gets hurt/pain or bad bandaid taste, It was bad cut. He totally stopped after that... . Now he wakes up a lot at night, does not sound sleep ..

Whn my baby was 9mons old she undergone to limp node surgery and docs gave iv to the same hand bcoz they failed to get nerve in another hand it’s be like that for 3days and at that time she tried but she is k ,we thought she left the habit of it but once the doc freed her hand she immediately sucked and later she touched the lamp and her fingers are burned even though she didn’t stopped,she easily removes the bandaids,now my husband blaming me bcoz I didn’t stopped her at early ages and due to the noise of sucking everyone scolding her..she is a very understanding girl whn I told her to not to put bco her hand was smelling bad she wil wait until I cln her hand and asks me to cln ..
But not stopping it

I have tried almost every method on earth ( we thought so )to stop my ds from sucking his middle fingers. It slightly affected the appearance of his figures and we thought it affected his gums too resulting in a gap between teeths ( now he is a big boy with beautiful teeths). Thats when we came across this one that stopped his finger sucking habbit by 3ys (that when we came across this option).
Gloves-we used similar one during his sleeping time for months. They suck it first, but slowly stop doing so. Dont say its to stop this habbit, give some other reason.

Thanks alot Ddream for your suggestions , hopefully it wil help us,
But my baby was master in removing buttons and cello tapes and even a small stickers from anything and she is having very fine pincer griping on every object and she won't leave as easily ..
My most concern is now a days she was asking us to lay down with her even during the day time to just suck her finger,she wants some skin to skin touch to do it,if she touches anyone's shoulder or like that she just do it next sec and not ready to go...

Yes, my son too. Full time (24/7). If he dont find us, cover him with his favorite blanket and do the same. We need persistance. I made sure that it was on his fingers when he was sleeping. Slowly, it will break thump sucking habbit during nighttime ( he was at daycare during daytime on working days) and stop it. I used to take him to bed ( fixed time every day) and its helped him sleep faster. Slowly, he liked wearing it without any problem. If he removes it, I put it on his hand again while he sleeps. So, try it during nighttime. Hope this helps.
