Me too. It was my first crush in my life. I was so innocent during those days and had opinion of females only blessed with very beautiful looks until I saw him in Roja.
He was much more handsome and posh looking in person even more than screen at that time. My dad had invited him for our showroom opening right after Roja! I was only 13 that time.. my sister was in high school and her friends invited or not, slef invited themselves and turned up just to see him..all drooling avlo craze and girl fans he had. he was blushing so much seeing the girls pakavey cute a irunthuchu!! He came with 2 of his friends, Omg, they were on another level, super hep& handsome!! I was just sitting jaw dropped seeing those 2.., nice recollection of memories!!
I am a huge jaya fan (politics) and also mgr(for his movies , his young handsome looking days). Seeing some reviews I didn't want to watch this movie, thinking they might have not done justice. but boy was I wrong! once i started after a point i forgot it was kangana or arvind. i could only see jaya and mgr! they have done justice to their role. especially second half was very good. sometimes she reminded jayalalitha with the (admk)party saree n all.. arvind also acted so well as mgr! I liked the last scene where she removes the chairs and the minister bow down to her. She was really critiziced that her ministers fall at her her feet and bowing dowing so much. Ive always wondered why she did that or allowed that. it was kind of like an answer to that behavior!
Yes. Also I heard from a film industry friend of mine. She was exploited by men when she entered the film industry. She was a very pretty brahmin woman too. Not many brahmin women worked in movies those days.
Another must watch one, with simi garewal.. rendezvous with jayalalitha.. shows the other sensitive side of her..for some reason it is restricted and cannot be attached here. Anyone interested I highly recommend to see it in youtube.
Yes, I watched it after reading your post here. I really felt nice to knew more about Jaya from her own words. Thank you for sharing it here.
The song which she sings in the show.. I fell in love with her.. that was the first show I saw after her death news came... I was jaw dropped by the grace with which she presented herself in the show..
