After Shri Krishna killed Kansa, he went to the jail to release Vasudev and Devki, his mother and father.
Devki mata asked eagerly, "Child, you are God yourself, and you have divine powers; then, why did you wait fourteen years to kill Kansa and release us"?
Shri Krishna replied, ′′ Respected mother, forgive me. But why did you send me to the jungle for fourteen years in my last birth?
Devki was very surprised and said, ′′ Krishna, how is this possible? Why are you saying this?"
Shri Krishna replied, ′′ Mother, you will not remember anything about your previous birth. But you were Kaikayi in your last birth and your husband was Dashrath".
Devki was very surprised and asked curiously, ′′ Then, who is Kausalya now?"
Shri Krishna replied, ′′ Mother Yashoda. The fourteen years of mother's love that she was deprived of in her last life, she got it in this life ′′
Everyone has to bear the fruits of their karma, even the gods cannot escape from it.

Keep an eye on what karma you want accumulate.

“Few of my relatives have deliberately chosen to live far away from inlaws and also totally cut off contact with troublesome inlaws. Just hi bye relation. Also incited their husbands andpoisoned their mind to not take care of in laws.
But these ladies are doing really well, and arevery prosperous professionally and personally.”

OP, you don’t get bad karma by cutting out nasty people from your lives. Also, no one can ever poison anyone’s mind against their own parents. Those guys actually have eyes, brains and spines to understand their parents are causing trouble. Trust me, it takes a LOT of **** to cut out parents. Now that they cut out headache, they are able to focus on their careers and marriages, both obviously are thriving!!
No using karma as a blackmail tool to make people put up with ****.

it doesn’t work like that. Old age is not an excuse for poor behaviour.

respect your child’s marriage = you are likely to get help with needed.

disrespect child’s marriage and become a headache = you get left out. Regardless of how much headache you put up with your inlaws.

I never believed in Karma until i got married & felt its power in real life.
Karma exists. It is for real.

According to my understanding, Karma is not related to your actions, but your intentions. That's where we go wrong & doubt its existence.

Before marriage, i really liked a baby girl & showed genuine affection.
I showered her with motherly love & provided her with financial assistance until she was adopted & moved abroad.

After marriage, i had to move to abroad by leaving the kids behind for a few yrs. But they were taken well cared by my mom, bro & sister. This extended family still consider my kids as their first borns & love them dearly.

I never shy away from helping friends or relatives whenever they are in need. Be it financial or physical.
Likewise, i have always been supported by someone or the other throughout my life.
Without the support of those strangers, i wouldn't be here today.

My MIL wanted to separate me from her son. Today she is separated from him.
She tried to abort her grand son ( my son) and today, she is unable to live or at least meet her grand children ( not just ours, but BILs kids)

If this is not karma, then what it is?
