    Hello
My close relative has been a school topper. She is very smart successful usually got rank 1,2,3 in school well admired student and playful and cheerful girl too.

she came to us and did ms computer science. Soon after graduation her uncle passed away due to sudden stroke and her father got diagnosed with heart disease and needed immediate bypass. Maybe due to all this she got mentally ill diagnosed with schizophrenia. Her family is well educated family. Marriage also not happening due to this issue. Any pooja or remedy for rectifying all this negative in her life ? What to do for her to help this family ? Parents are highly educated lawyers and engineers. It’s a shame to see them suffer physically and mentally due to their daughter. A family who was highly respected is now bowing head in shame. There must be a solution for this ?? Can’t even talk to them cause it hurts to see them like this.

Schizophrenia is a serious disorder that needs medical help. They should be consulting the appropriate professionals that can give them a realistic picture, instead of being ashamed.

Yes of course they are already consulting psychiatrist and medical professionals but I am asking from the spiritual point of view. Any poojas or remedies for this. It just doesn’t make sense. Such a well to do family who everyone used to admire is suddenly facing these troubles. Her mom is eldest and has done like 10 weddings. Her cousins who could not get married for ages used to stay in her house and within a week got married to very good grooms. And now when it comes to her own daughter they are suffering without marriage for her etc etc. it is very amazing to see the irony of the situation

Is there any family history of Schizophrenia?
If not, they should consult another doctor and go for second opinion.

No body wants to sacrifice their life by marrying a Schizophrenia patient as its a serious condition and has genetic component. Not all get it in future generations, but there are chances. Who will take that risk. So its important to not hide this factor while considering matrimony proposals.

My cousin got a proposal long back. Boy was well settled. Family too. But he mentioned in his matrinony profile that his mother is taking medicines for Schizophrenia and his sister too. As they didn't have much idea, their family was ready to proceed but asked us about it.
So we consulted our friend ( doctor and specialist) and he said " run away from the proposal if you dont want your future generations to suffer. Its not worth it". So we dropped that proposal.

Really sorry for your cousins condition. My school teachers husband had this issue, we came to know when their son, my junior, failed to appear in the exam ( school topper ) due to its severe episode.

Poojas can give some peace of mind. But it wont remove this condition. Sad to hear your cousins state. Nothing to be ashamed of. Its not her fault. That attitude should be removed. That will be a great help from every one around her. Proper medical intervention and regularly taking medicine is the only way to go. Instead of negative attitude give your cousin the confidence to face her life with courage and be independent in all aspects. Who knows, may be she will find someone who accept her.

Sorry if I sounded negative in anyway, but being honest is the way to go, I believe.

No not negative in any way. We don’t know anything about this. Never heard of it in fact. Nice to get as much information as possible. Even family is not going near them after knowing this

you mentioned “My school teachers husband had this issue, we came to know when their son, my junior, failed to appear in the exam ( school topper ) due to its severe episode.”

If father has the condition why does son not appear on exam ?

Thank you so much for expressing your views on this. !

His son ( younger one ) also got the same condition . Oh. I forgot to mention it. But their elder son is ok. I don't know their current situation.
Please learn about it and correctly diagnose and treat her condition. There is no cure for schizophrenia. Its severity can vary from person to person. But it is treatable and manageable with medication and behavioral therapy. Need proper care even during remission stages.

I remember seeing Indian movies where some women who are mentally ill keep laughing laughing and after the movie actor who is the hero tries to treat them they become normal. Is that just in movies not in real life ? Does anyone know ? Is there a chance they will become normal one day.
My neighbor who was normal before covid also became mentally ill during covid as his relatives passed away. I think death causes it. Even he is school topper it seems. Sad to see these cases.

Sure thanks for suggestion I will let them know. But problem is schizophrenia is new to them too. They don’t have anyone to guide them either.
So son who is a school topper has the condition but still is a school topper ? Just curious.
