Home Decor Compromises With Husband?

Fabric or leather sofa, recliner or not, sectional or 2 piece?
to paint walls or not, bold or neutral colors?
accent color for a wall or not,
recessed lighting, ceiling fan makes room look ugly or not,
modern looking furniture or traditional, order online or only after seeing in person,
carpet or tiles or wood color
bunk bed or not
Devote one whole wall to TV?
Windows: drapes or blinds or shutters?
expensive or affordable?
Shower door - frosted or clear?
Bathtub or shower?
Kitchen cabinets - refinish or not?
Fridge - steel or black or white?
...
...

The list of decisions is endless. As is the inconclusive visits to Home Depot or tiles and furniture stores. Or the online links forwarded on late Sunday nights.

Do you mostly agree or disagree on decor decisions? Does one of you totally not care and happily leaves the decisions to the other?

After some experience, we have come to a system where one person (the one who cares the most about the item) makes a list of a few choices. The other one chooses from that. Thankfully we don't disagree about the budget part. And neither is too picky.
