    What son, Are You Holme?
Sherlock Stickney, 32, married with one child (boy, 6) was managing his family's construction business, started by his grandfather in the 1940's. The company was called "Sherlock Homes". They built typical suburban wood-framed homes on concrete foundations, in half acre or less, with twin-car garages. Recently business had been volatile.... and lately it has been disastrous (see chart on wall). Sherlock had no money in the bank, the company had borrowed to the max on all their credit lines....he was depressed. Look at the business chart on the wall:

If he dies, in an accident, in sickness or whatever, his wife would get to collect on the insurances. He decided to stage a break-in scene at work.
    • Opened the window to the outside.
    • Kicked the guest chair down with his right foot
    • Swept off tabletop contents to his right
    • Took a deep drink from the vodka bottle he had in his desk, and threw it at the wall
    • Then, he shot himself

I am a watcher of the Titles of Threads.
Homes and not Holmes was a big hint.

Yes indeed. That was behind my head while nominating. But then twenty four hours gone by since that event not a single like there or appreciation here. Btw should I say, “I care a hoot for LIKES”

I notice the correction made in the word where “L”was missing. My thanks to moderator.

It is unfortunate that moderators interfere in such things, cleverly intended spelling errors.
Spelling/grammar errors, bad or misinformation, and weird non-standard rationale are all social forum slights to draw out the shy/recalcitrant respondents among us. They get encouraged to come in, and offer the correction, and feel enthused about life in general. Moderating should be moderate; and not become the act of a nanny.
