True, every mother feels same but that unconditional love/bond has to exist forever. Hope you can understand what I tried to convince you.

    Same pinch.
I too was the darling of my parents and my elder brother. Everything in the house happened according to my wishes

And then after marriage, I am no longer the pampered one. Such a huge shift

If a mom wants and pray for his son's wellbeing after marriage also, we don't hear Mil- Dil issues anymore. Some of moms forget that unconditional love after their son's marriage and spoil their kid's peace of mind.

The mothers who do love their kids unconditionally, do not change suddenly after kid gets married.

What is important to understand that just giving birth to a kid doesn't automatically produce unconditional love- it depend son the person. There are absolutely selfless mothers, average mothers, as well as narcissistic mothers .

How was it 'unconditional' in the first place when there was a condition of marraige

I personally feel the characterstic of affection/love dosnt change... if a person becomes possesive after someone else enters the equation, theirs was possesive love from the start. It just didnt had the opurtunity to show itself as such until the oppurtunity presented itself.
Unconditional love is when children are loved for what they are...no matter what the exam results and job positions of kids are.

Its very difficult to spot a lie which hides in the shadow of truth.

I know. I believe in just want and pray for kids' wellbeing without expecting anything in return from kids also comes under unconditional love.
