    Dear @SunPa ,

I hope I wasn't a Debbie Downer :( That is a big change for your workout routine. Keep us posted - I would love to get your opinion on your classes. Mon-Fri is intense. I am impressed and am rooting for you. I have friends who do yoga an hour a day and the changes in them are amazing! Don't worry about injuries as much but be mindful and listen to your body. Best wishes and love.

    Days 6 and 7: June 29-30:
    1. IF 14 hrs -- DONE
    2. Read 10+ pages -- DONE
    3. 20-min full body workout -- DONE
    4. 40-min brisk walking -- DONE
    5. Facial skin care -- DONE
Though I was following IF, my diet was somewhat out of control from time to time. I ate poori, biryani, matar paneer, cheese pizza, chocolates in this one week of following the routine. I was surprised that I didn’t gain any weight. The regular workout must have helped. I initially felt like I was having a very relaxed target in terms of diet. It is just IF 14 hours. But you are absolutely correct @Gauri03 that it does seem to be enough in terms of weight management given my current weight and IF. I feel pretty good following the whole body workout routine you shared. Thanks again a ton for that! Since my primary goal now is to reduce and tone my tummy, I will start following healthier meal plan adding more whole grains and no sugar.

Calorie counts are rough estimates. Not focusing on counting seriously since I started IF. I eat one or two meals at most, combined with the workouts I doubt I’m exceeding my calorie goals. Down 3lbs since the start of the challenge. I don’t like the book I’m reading so I stick to the 10 pages a day and read other stuff after that. I have to read it for a mommy book club so trying to get through it somehow.

Oh no, in fact your greatly value your opinion. I will post next week on my experience. Thanks for the encouragement,

I did a yoga workshop in Dec for perimenopausal women. I have been doing yoga on and off since childhood ( thank my dad for that), so not like the asanas were new or hard. But the sheer habit of doing it at least 5 days a week really helped. My menstrual cramps have become so much lesser, didnt need hot packs or pain killers even on day 1. She It is not like this happened after a few months, just 3 weeks in. But I have to keep doing it consistently. And somehow I need the stimulus, despite the benefits I have seen, I need connect, the challenge to keep going. I wish I had the self discipline to be regular even when other priorities get in the way.

Look at me talking to you all about yoga- it's like preaching to the choir , or more like choir preaching to the pastor/priest,

    Dear @SunPa ,

    Not at all!
I absolutely love hearing every peprspective. Yoga journey indeed is very personal and when we share, we understand better and help others too. Please do share. I absolutely love to hear.

First thing is you are aware what you need - that is a huge step and second - you know how to go about getting what you need. Rest all will fall in place. And as awful as I do sharing this, I do not have a everyday practice - some of my fellow teachers have it and I feel awful but I know I need my spinning - so Yoga is about 3 days/week. I have tried hard to make it five days but it simply is not possible - the closest I came to was a 100 day sun salutation challenge. That actually helped me immensly. I had just completed that when @Gauri03 started this. So I was/am very grateful. I often take classes at my studio to improve my practice and learn new things and I have such a long way to go! Zoom classes now is really tiring me out - I am doing 6 classes/week which means that much more practise along with our challenge here. I am begininng to feel a burn out :)

I am super glad you are trying, I am happy you took what I wrote in right perspective - I couldn't have said otherwise. I would love to hear about the asanas you will be learning and how you feel.
