Small Changes,big Differences

    During pandemic time I have developed interest of growing indoor,outdoor and some leafy vegetable plants.In this process I found some unwanted plants growing in between seeded plants.I plucked out all unwanted plants and cleaned the soil so that seeded plants can grow well.This thought was revolving in my mind similarly many unwanted thoughts will run in our mind,they deviate us,the thoughts that run in our mind will impact the focus of work.I realized instead of forcing myself to focus on my task why don't I remove all unwanted thoughts from my mind then direction of focus will get improve and it worked for me.With this self lesson I have realized that nature make us to learn many things, sometimes though we are aware of certain things but we never implement unless we see it practically in the same or the other kind.In the period of one year I started observing many things and started practically implementing it.
    During this phase I got clarity about balancing of mental and physical health still I am working on it,I want to learn more......
    This helped me to change my life style, way of thinking.I also noted that the intake of food will have lot of impact on mental and physical health, ofcourse many of us know but as I mentioned though we know it sometimes we neglect.Making small changes gives us big results.My progress results to happiness,peace, confident,bold and beautiful person.

    All good points. Yes, indeed your practices are effective, looks like. Every morning doing a grateful practice is effective also. What are 3 things you are grateful for? Even if it is the same 3 things. Also answer "What would make today great?" and then you can get done the things that are important instead of wasting time which happens to all of us because we are emotionally involved in some thing or other that happens.

    What a delightful change you have incorporated into your daily routing maintain excellent mental and physical health. The information we take in, just like food, has major impact in our mental health. controling the unwanted thoughts is as important as controling what we put in our mouth. The world consist of two major parts one is called "Purusha" and another is called "Prakrithi". Purusha is light that sustains all life whereas Prakriti is food that helps maintain life. Life force is the light an breathing and eating helps to nourish it. If you notice, our breath becomes heavy when we have mental disturbances and the changes in our health has an impact in our mind. They are both inter-related. Regulating our breath, diet control, control of our desires, detachment and equanimity play a significant role in our growth in advancement.

    I wrote a snippet a few years back and I am sharing this here how I see the mind as a parking lot.

    A super observation in your kitchen garden or and nursery. Thanks to you and to my philosopher pal @Viswamitra for citing here his previous old post . An excellent beneficial read.
    I was drawn by enigmatic title "small changes".
    Initially I was thinking about difficulty in transacting retail purchase in the native language of which am ignorant of and therefore wherever fraction of currency involved i used to tender full unit currency. As a result over a quarter of year my large steel trunk was full of coins of varying values. As a lodger and bachelor in then Bombay, the box soon filled to brim with metal coins and when i married and showed it to spouse, she was surprised the box was weighing near over five kgs.
    When small positive changes are integrated, it transform into huge savings

    When negatives or unwanted or undesirables are eliminated, it turns far easier to see the clear path to glory that shines and delight us.
