    I realise I havent updated here. And I also didnt do my workouts on Tuesday as there was plumbing works at home and I was exhausted at the end of day ( as if I did the plumbing :-0 ). So I have restarted from Wednesday.

    Thank you ladies, you keep me motivated , and I feel accountable to stick to this.

    Need to add in one one more condition to make this a habit - to get one workout of atleast 30 mins done before 1 pm ( restart if fail to do so for 2 consecutive days )

    Day1 : 23rd Jun
    • Two 45 minute workouts – 45 mins walk +60 mins yoga
    • No Sweet
    • IF - 15 hrs
    • 15 mins pranayama

    Day2 : 24th Jun
    • Two 45 minute workouts – 60 mins cycling + 60 mins zumba
    • No Sweet
    • IF - 16 hrs
    • 15 mins pranayama
    Day3 : 25th Jun
    • Two 45 minute workouts – 2.5 hr hike ( 12 km)
    • No Sweet
    • IF - 18 hrs
    • 10 mins pranayama

    Just curiosity - a question.
    Would sitting and watching continuously for say an hour or so would affect body weight? Is the effect depend or independent of age of the person?

    All that you said makes perfect sense to me! I greatly appreciate you taking time to write back your thoughts. I realize that I did not set the goals right for me. I just copied some from yours without fully understanding the reasoning behind it. In fact I did not know about BMR until I read now about it. I can’t thank you enough for the video :) I will come back later and post my updates. Have diligently followed my routine for the past 3 days. Planning to continue :)

    Sitting and watching what? : ) A horror movie might raise your heart rate and help you burn a few extra calories. But I assume you meant sitting and doing absolutely nothing else. Putting it simplistically, you would burn calories at close to your basal metabolic rate (BMR — the energy your body expends in staying alive) + the energy you would expend in sitting up. It wouldn’t have any significant impact on body weight either way. Metabolic rate slows down with age so theoretically a younger person might expend more calories sitting around than an older one.
