"At Middleton" a 2014 movie starring Andy Garcia and Vera Farmiga. Lovely movie. I wonder how I missed it when it came out. Maybe it never came on Netflix. I watched it recently on Prime Video. It's not on Netflix.

Light story -- two parents are on a college tour with their respective kids. They decide to play hooky from the tour and spend the day with each other, while still on the college campus. And fall in love.

    Highly recommend.

Sandeep aur Pinky Faraar: A neatly made movie by Dibakar Banerjee (Khosla ka Ghosla). The plot is a common one: two people on the run. But nicely done by all. Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra do justice to their roles. Neena Gupta and Raghuvir Yadav at their usual best. The other cast also fit their roles, in particular Jaideep Ahlawat.

It definitely deserves a higher rating than the 6.3 it has on imdb. Unluckily for the actors and director, the movie was originally scheduled to be released on March 20, 2020, just when the lockdown started.

    I liked the simple ending.

It's available on Prime Video and einthusan. Not on Netflix yet.

Trivia: remember Sharon Prabhakar? She is in the movie. Try to spot her. : )

I watched Uppena telugu movie. Dont even know what to comment. Movies are not having any entertainment factor nowadays. Too much reality bytes not needed IMO

Watched Cinema Bandi two weeks ago and it had made my day joyful. It was so natural to watch some good innocent people and their Hopes for better life. I remember some old good memories while watching movie. Some thought provoking, hilarious and emotional scenes were there and felt like watched a nice/simple movie after long time.

Yes, Vidya, that is native language of people who live in Andhra and Karnataka border places. No hero/heroine/villain and no hypocrisy. All characters just acted naturally and their innocent talk/ thoughts made me laugh, like them and I recollected some childhood memories. Simply superb movie.
