I was watching this tamil web series and the F word is used like crazy.Apart from that..they easily show both the genders involved in all kind of vices. Is it cool? I don't know..

People say movies reflect real life..actually it is the other way.

People get brainwashed and mentally conditioned a certain way to be in a specific manner to fit in.

In english movies, these F words or other stuff is shown explicitly but nowadays it's become common in Indian movies too.

The youth wants to act and behave like the actors/actresses as shown in the movies.

However..movies can be made without sexual content or abusive words.

A little bit here and there is okay but it is has become so common!!!

Be it fairness creams, the way one needs to dress, the kind of love one can expect, what "success" really is..every thing is decided and stressed on the audience. Upto us to take it but it does increase the peer pressure to fit in a certain way especially for the youth.

what's your opinion about media influencing the public?

I completely agree with it. I can't watch movie in front of my kids. There is so much use of that word in each sentence that if they will listen to it for few times they may learn it and can use that too. It's highly unacceptable.

Yeah these days all movies have some adult content...
Always check the rating...U is ok, but U/A and A rated movies to not be watched in front of kids...
Sometimes, even I find that U rated movies have some explicit words and some kissing scene or bedroom scene ( may not be much graphic or in detail or no exposure but enough to make parents uncomfortable in front of kids. )
Best thing is to watch known comedies or family kind of movies with kids, and any new movie or web series which you haven’t watched earlier to be watched on your personal gadgets such as laptop, or on TV after kids go to sleep...

I remember during my childhood days, some "U" rated Hindi and regional language films which I have watched with family..either on TV or in theater had kissing scenes ! That was many years back..I remember discussing these scenes and giggling with friends...and now due to internet, kids are far more aware and knowledgeable than we think...its necessary to be cautious about what we watch on front of them..at the same time not possible to protect them 100%. They ll come to know "facts of life " and much more, sooner or later !

True and there is an age for everything..

Kids learning adult stuff early on is not good for their emotional health..

In the name of TRP and making money..media does this when it is fully known it is tough to control the media influence these days..

We can only protect so much..Tough to see when young children talking and behaving way more than their age.
