    Dear V sir,

First things first sir! I would love for nothing more than you visiting us! And you will enjoy sitting out and relaxing while reading a book.
Thank you as always for your loveley feedback and encouraging words. Thankfully and slowly I am converting some of my friends into paying attention to the nature around them and hence the photography sharing :)
I am glad the police bought into your talk about spirituaity and let you go :) My neighbor was pulled ove and as she lowered the windows, the music was blaring - one look at her happy face, two car seats in the rear and the officer was like "Have fun now! just don't drive that fast"! There are good people there now with a sense of humor too! But the truth behind that is when there is genuine joy, it is visible.

Aunty was attentive enough to see an alligator - so low on the ground scampering for its life. I know some people who always speak of turtle crossings! Thankfully I am limited to frogs, birds, bunnies, deer like most of us in the US!

Hope you are enjoying your summer.

    Dear @Thyagarajan sir,

Thank you for your feedback and sharing that video of peacocks - a student recently made a drawing for me along with buying a peacock card :) Talking of peacocks, the only person I think of is our own Kamalji! Bless his heart, he never failed to talk about the peacocks that visited his own house. I do miss him :(

Wonderful pics and your words too are wonderfully pictorial. Listening to audiobooks while driving is not better than music playing in the car. We tend to focus more on words than on music. The music just floats over you as you focus on the road but in the case of audiobooks, your attention gets divided between the book and the road.

    Dear @Balajee ,

Thank you as always for your words and feedback. Of course no one thing is better than the other - changing up is what I do and I was mostly referring to the repeated western music they play sometimes on a particular radio station and I was also referring to small chunks of driving, like 15 mins. I do enjoy music thoroughly :)

Restarted my gardening attempts after a long time. Baby steps with money plant and after that survived, some slightly more needy plants. Read through some of your Gardening sections threads. Both indoor and outdoor.. lost count of the pots now. : )

I am converted after reading your snippets. The brown hills look as majestic and inspiring as they did when green four months ago. I always think of you and your nature snippets when I use a post-it from my precious collection of two:

Would make for a fun thread - when you see a rainbow whom do you text first or send a picture to? : )

    Dear Rihana,

You are so sweet. What more do I need than to hear a friend, albeit only virtual say this
. I have so much meaning to life through nature. [/quote] The funny thing is I may not like the quiteness of a rural area to live - I love the hustle and bustle of a busy life but I like to create my own oasis! How strange no?

I was surpirsed to read that gardening took a bit of a backseat in your life though I understand. I am glad you are back at it though. I have sucha huge indoor plant collection now that I try hard to keep it all contained to the room I most spend time in - dining room :) Backyard has taken a bit of bacck seat - just planted veggies only last week. All thanks to pouring rains everyday! A little breather and Imanaged to sneak a few plants. Hopefully will get more done this week.

Most of my friends send me a picture if they see a rainbow, honestly for they go "She will enjoy it so much"! I am afraid I don't share with anyone for I know, most of them will go
"there is my cuckoo friend" though it feels warm to imagine them thinking that and smiling. Hoenstly, I get so excited when I see a rainbow that you will find me go up and down and outside to see where I get a good view!

Thank you Rihana, for your warm feedback. Your gardening postits are so very cute.........

I came here after I saw your post nominated :)... and I am so glad I did.

I love what you said.We are so rigid to change but constant passing of moments is a change that will always be there...either you take them or let them pass. Also, there is something very soulful when we just sit and watch what nature has done around us, sometimes barren, sometimes green, sometimes just plain simply beautiful, sometimes extremely scenic. She is always perfect in what ever she decides to paint.
Btw, Deer have got such graceful silhouettes dont they!
