My little girl is turning one and we are planing to have a birthday party for her... we are planing to have around 90 people that includes 33 children...all the adults are vaccinated and our covid new cases have been zero for the past 1 week... I want suggestions on menu... only one third of the people coming are Indians... rest are Hispanic, white and mixed... our menu is veg biryani, veg noodles, roti, chicken 65, tandoori chicken, chicken tikka masala, palak paneer, gobi Manchuria and pizzas... i know that 3 or 4 of Indians are vegetarians... do you think it’s a good menu... most are not accustomed to Indian food.. any suggestions are appreciated.. TIA

Wow.. post the address, and date/time.
That kind of variety is very likely catered in. No human can cook all that for that big a gathering. Your big bother has to be the weather.... because I am thinking backyard and under a tent affair. Make sure you have things to drink -- from water to whatever. Salty/spicy food is usually very drink-demanding. A well known truism for bars that serve food.
DON'T CHANGE A THING. EVERYONE IS EXPECTING WHAT IS YOUR NORM.
This is always bad for gatherings... once you eat some of this, the worry that something is sticking to your teeth overtakes, and you want to go to the bathroom mirror to check and make sure that those who laughed at whatever you said weren't doing it for the wrong reasons.

The host has to make sure that there is plenty of access to bathrooms.

    Don't worry about the menu.

True. One should be worried about weather and the place for cooking for such a large gathering of several courses of menu.
God bless your child and you and DH AND THE PARTY.

    Remove the palak paneer.
Add more pizzas with veg and nonveg toppings.
    Most love indian food.
    Have fun.
    Happy birthday to your baby:dev14:

Indian food on the menu is good even if only 1/3rd are Indians.... Double hit as Indians would love it for sure and non Indian phoren ppl will get a taste of Indian cuisine too ..something different from their routine bread, buns n pizza .

Are you cooking it all or ordering in? If cooking, hats off to your patience to cook for 90 people!

I suggest keep limit of 1 ir 2 starter each in veg and non veg- chicken 65, gobi manchurian, paneer chilli, chicken tikka
For main course - roti/pizza-veg n non veg/veg biriyani/chicken biryani (make biriyani base same n change toppings you get 2 diff biryanis!).

Add a dessert- apart from cake ofcourse... Maybe gulab jamun with vanilla icecream?

Blessings to the lil one on her 1st bday in advance

I would have some more kid-friendly options but otherwise the menu looks good.
