i do not have any words to say. you are getting amazing feedback. infact i am reading this thread and bookmarking for my kids.

i just want to say , it is OKAY to be bored also sometimes. because as you have experienced in life, it is not all the time exciting and something new .

friends is tricky. but my Dh tells this to my daughter and it has worked out for her. He says have both types of friends ( the silly ones who care less about education ) - but they are fun to be around and make you get good memories,
and the smart ones - who makes you learn new stuff.

When I was young baba, my mother used to put me in a narrow crib made of her saree tied to a hook in the roof and that will be rocked while she sings song called lullabies which used to contains words of divinity and relatives and others. She would prefer neelabari numbers to put me to sleep.
Spouse & I followed the same for our DD & DS. They showed exceptional grasping in general and later in their academics.

My all time favorite books for little ones - Eric Carle. I am partial to him and I love reading his books as an adult even to this day! My students and kids find me with a Very Hungry Caterpillar every now and then.

Ok, I get it. An independent addition, unrelated to my posts. Here's some more recent data.

    Hi @sokanasanah

Nice to notice your presence. I read the link you shared. It looks like the unborn child has some reasoning and intellectual capabilities as opposed to old scientific theories about brain development during childhood in stages. I am reading Prasna Upanishad for a presentation and it looks like Pippalaada's answer to the question of Bhargava or Vaidarbhi explains that only Praana transmigrate to another body after 12 months rest. But it is silent about what happens when the new body is under development. I guess as soon as it is in formation, the memories and all the consequences of actions get embedded as the scriptures also describes about the fetus cursing the necessity to be born again due to their past actions, living in the uterus. The fetus forget the past only after delivery meaning these memories gets encrypted in a language not readable by its brain. However, may be what is shared with the fetus during its development may still remain as is. May be singing, reading epics, chanting hymns and discussing war strategies with the fetus might use those memories.

The days are not far off when the parents begin:

    1) Training the children while they are still a featus about how to attend interviews for UKG admission
    2) Embed information about who they can trust and who they can't as a child
    3) Share some fundamental information about the profession of the parents enabling the featus to inherit their practice in future.

@nuss excuse me for this detour from your wonderful thread.
