I love your descriptive post. I always wanted to visit places like Holland, Greenland, etc

You have a good point about finding a lover (I don't like the word partner, because it means part, where lover had the word love)

So many people are desperate for marriage they fail to see red flags. Then they repent forever.

I say do what you love and the right person will come into your life and most likely stay

That is so true. Something a woman is more in danger in her own home!

Giving birth to a daughter must be like giving birth to your best friend.

Certainly COVID is clearing up now, you can both enjoy tour.

Reddit is comprehensive, will search for tours within USA. I'm more spa and ahhh that lumber and blumber (I read about ladies who travel alone in RV, change their own tires, etc, etc). I love the name Machu Pichu!

    Very comprehensive

Your post is very informative. I would love the idea of Antarctica. I thought it was only for research scientists. I'm sure there must be lot of hot chocolate there!

I saw a video where an Indian celebrity was visiting Ibiza - now I want to go there!!!!!!

Of course have to keep guard up because people love to look for travelers (for all the wrong reasons!)

But I think Antarctica, Iceland is up on my list. Who would have thought???

I read the synopsis Queen (2014 film) - Wikipedia

Movies are made of dreams. Really nice fantasy though. In real life the parents would not allow their single daughter to travel alone. And if Vijay wanted forgiveness the parents would pressure her to marry him.

Maybe that is why I am adamant on wanting to travel alone at the earliest, without worrying about marriage, esp arranged.

My mom will agree with you now. Not sure about a couple of decades ago! She cherishes a trip my sibling and I took her on for a birthday. Looking forward to a few more of those while she is able to.

I definitely want to but my son and DH have been home bound for over a year as well. I may plan that road trip after all!

I guess Americanised now, even if not born and brought up here. Indian parents are different or very possessive or protective of their children especially girls. I see in our own household. Grandson, aged 22 has been to many cities in the USA by road all by himself meeting friends visiting places but I know her parents will not allow their daughter to do the same.

Best thing is fir daughter to be financially but more so EMMmotionally independent (so she can either leave rotten marriage or run away when she sees red flag) and then travel all she wants.

Being on someone's leash, esp h, il is no fun
