Any suggestions for women's full-length hiking pants to use in summer and fall?

I've tried prAna and Little Donkey Andy. They were OK but not great.

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07KR5TPQG/

When I search online I find most to be either too wide a flare at the bottom (cargo) or too slim fit overall.

Any full-length hiking pants that you use and like? Should have pockets big enough to hold a phone. Preferably with zippered pocket and not convertible.

My budget is under $70 or so. But more is ok too if it fits right and feels good.

Perhaps this could be useful reading:
Women’s Style Guide to Wearing Men’s Jeans

And then here is something to look into:
Mrs. once bought L.L. Bean hiking pants. In ripstop Nylon. I looked at the catalog and found something close. They say this has got some kind of bug repellent worked into the cloth somehow. In the old version, there was no bug repellent. Women's No Fly Zone Pants, Zip-Leg

All pants would require some fixing... like folding the hem [ note the inseam length]. I would recommend buying one size larger, as the waist is elastic with a belt, and if (suddenly) you hike up too high, and it gets colder, you may just wear an extra pair of pants underneath, and protect yourself.

If you have a sewing machine, you can easily lick this following problem [ often, this is also a work-around for hem-fixing]:
Buy what fits you comfortably above the knees, and attach the legs from another pair of pants that has the suitable style. Hiking pants shouldn't flare at the hem, especially if you are to walk too close to burrs and thorny stuff.

    good luck.

I would look at REI. They have great quality and an excellent return policy.

What about yoga pants with pockets? I am a big fan of them.

I like this one from Northface. No zipper pockets though. It’s comfy and no complaints. It’s not wrinkle free. I don’t mind wearing wrinkled pants for walks or errands so it suits me just fine.

    Thanks guys.

That I already have done - use my son's pants : ) or the ones I order for him, I also used to try on. But want to find and buy good women's pants too.

The convertible ones (convert to shorts by removing zippered lower half) are always flared at the bottom.

I know ... We were half afraid REI would start closing down due to the pandemic. Instead a new one is opening nearer to us! But I am hoping someone will recommend something they have tried.
: ) Wearing one right now. Yoga pants rarely have useful pockets. If they have a credit card pocket thingie they advertise it as a big deal in the description. I have yoga pants for use at home as I don't need big pockets then. For hiking, I need pockets that can hold cell phone (with its cover), sun glasses, reading glasses, bluetooth in its case and occasionally car keys. : )

Drawstring! Nice. I read the material details. Do you think it makes the 'swoosh" noise when walking?

I am brand specific. These are some of my daily wear, hiking, travel pants. They are light weight, fit great and comfortable. I like Columbia one it has side pockets , zipper pockets, I bought it for hiking and ended up using it as daily wear. I don’t know Columbia is discounted this model or not I don’t see different sizes on this model.

If you have a Patagonia outlet nearby, try their hiking pants! It’s towards higher end but the quality is great! Another very affordable option is Sierra Trading Co. They are a sister company of TJ Maxx and sell quality outdoor products.

Columbia makes great hiking pants as well. REI is another great option. I like the convertible hiking pants so can change into shorts if getting too hot.

Drawstring because my hormones don't like buttons! It doesn't make the 'swoosh' noise and feels cottony so I can wear it in summers. I have severe calf pain and yoga pants hurt my calves. These pants have been easy on my calves - no compression. I also wore them in Iceland with thermal inner wear. Very comfy.
