Current Situation Of Covid-19 In India

This is even worse than the Trump cult. Even people I thought would know better including many of my close family members are ardent Modi-bhakts. I feel like I’m talking to brick walls these days.

 

Well it is not 'baseless' as Govt IS acting callous.
But what you expect from Indian politicians?, its not like its all been neat until now since 1947. Mark Twain said:
Politicians are like diapers. They need to be changed for the same reasons.

But this time its not just their own shite, with a pandemic and their selfishness, its lives now. Heart wreching.

Next time it will be someone else ( may be Kejrewal) and soon it will be time again.

I too have had some people, very minimal in my circle who say that all images from UP are lies and done as propaganda against it’s CM, BJP and PM. No amount of logical reasoning will help. They will support Modi and also Trump no matter what. One media can lie but all the media in unison with independent people accounts in multiple forums don’t lie. They all speak about horrific personal experience they have had. I have most relatives and friends in India who agree that it’s catastrophic there.

 

NaMo has benefited from the accumulated political negatives of the nehru-gandhi decades. Previously people starved, lacked much, including opportunities to help themselves. Now they are relatively better off. NaMo reaps the benefits. Yogi governs UP. Long gone NRI people call their relatives, and feel bemused about the NaMo phenom.

 

Now the next govt will benifit from these accumulated negatives... always a full circle isnt it..

What I am saying is atleast this thread has gone from relentless forwards to discussions. What was the point of those videos in this space anyway other than litting up the hate torch?. Yet so, who am I to tell ‍♀️

Discusions are good and we can all agree not to vote for him whenever elections take place and end it there.

I dont mind discussions and I am sure many of us have helped in one or more ways. Lack of oxygen or lack of food (in the case of poor because they cant work) should not be the reason to die. Its now more than ever that poor need help.

When discussions happen, useful things can be used to plan for the eventualities. For example, in about 3 more months, we'd need LOTS of firewood, and grave digging. Are governments in the various states prepared for that ? Are we going to install electric furnaces to stop tree-cutting ? Are there other ways to dispose/use the covid-dead ?

959,561.... is so precise !! What if only 959,560 people have firewood/hole-in-ground and the last one doesn't ? Could we use ancient Egyptian technology, and ship the finished goods to the British Museum?

Those are the questions we could answer by learning the realities of the situation through youtube videos and news reportages.

 

The reason why vaccines can fail due to mutations is also discussed here. But that shouldn’t deter people from getting vaccinated. Right now it’s the only way out.

@Balajee do watch it and when the crowd in hospitals are getting less get yourself and your family members vaccinated.
