    Dear All
How true it is that India is a country of great contradictions! On one hand the deadly pandemic is feasting on the country and we have the largest number of victims. People are constantly being reminded to keep their safe distance, not to venture out unless it is absolutely necessary. Despite all such cautions, we gather in huge numbers to listen to our leaders delivering their hackneyed election orations, go to Kumbmela to have a holy dip in overused rivers and queue in front of liquor shops! Amidst such utter irresponsibility, we do have families that behave very responsibly.

In a nerve-wrecking situation like this, it is so nice to encounter couples that feed on the love they have for each other. Pandemic is not in their daily agenda but love is. They may not even know how to express it, but the undercurrent of love is very palpable. We smile indulgently as @lavani goes on raving about it!

I have great pleasure in announcing @lavani as the Winner of the Finest Post Award for her beautiful response to the thread What Has Your Spouse Done That You Cherish The Most?

Congratulations @lavani! I love your post. In fact, I love all posts in the thread. From all of the responses there I figured out that we all want simple gestures in our marriages. End of the day, the heart desires the kind gestures. Your post depicts the most important aspects of what we all seek. It’s not flowery words or grand gifts!

    thank you all.

this pandemic has taught us, how much work we have been outsourcing by hiring cooks or getting outside food or day care that reduces so much stress in our life.

and when all that stopped. and only thing that helped us in being sane was following a strict routine. infact it would not have been possible if there was no support from my spouse. i would and he would have been fighting now if we had not been disciplined in our routine.

it taught me things, that i need to prioritize my spouse more than anyone. i pamper him now a days :) .

i got a real appreciation of those successful people who keep telling, fix your environment or change it to fix. if you have a supporting environment less money less health are not a hinderance at all.
