An old man I happen to observe at the entrance of a popular temple on an auspicious day where no care takers available for foot wear of devotees. On either side of entrance devotees were leaving their FOOTWEAR and it was a huge mess.

He came with family of four. After all of them left their chapels, the old man took one from each pair and put them on the right of the entrance and the other as a heap on to the left of the temple.
You know why?

The rest of the 25 smaller European countries combined (there are 44 countries in the European continent) - 6 Cr
Europe - 105.3 + 6 = 111.3 Cr
Adding the populations of Brazil (21.2 ) and Argentina (4.45 )
111.3 Cr + 25.65 Cr = 136.95 Cr
Thus, finally it is approx at lndia's population figure of 136 - 138 Cr.
The implication of managing Covid19 in lndia is as enormous task as managing it, in the entire Europe plus USA, Brazil and Argentina.

It's easy to criticise!

Comments like that can be viewed as recommending the breakup into manage'able independent republics. Like what happened to the USSR.

What a traffic, what a crowd everyone got her own traffic rules. Last time when we visited India in 2019 it was endless honking, thank god it changed alot more this time but too many vehicles and same small old roads

 

This your post indicates that you are caught right now somewhere in Indian metro traffic bottleneck. Welcome to Bharat. Glad you are in your mother-land and presumably in HYD or Chennai. Pedestrians are on roads as illegal shop owners display their wares occupying entire side walk or platform.

Usable road width reduced and hence traffic moves in snail’s pace. More over two wheelers men & young ladies with their entire family seen nicely manoeuvring, wading through cars and trucks & on sidewalks. Besides, customers of (illegal) shops on the narrow street, park their vehicles on side- walk and on street in front of shops. Thus add bottlenecks to steady non-flowing traffic.

I was I hyd, vijayawada not in Chennai thou….. next time going to visit when coming because of horrible service at hyd airport, what a pathetic rules/regulations?
