    Help!

    I'm in my 30's..
I want advice on how to solve urinary incontinence. It started suddenly. I am not able to wait even till I get to the potty seat. Night I need to wake up 3 times to use restroom. Even then mornings as soon as I wake up I need to rush to use the restroom.. pants are getting wet as well as innerwear.. I'm struggling psychologically as a result of this as well as physically as I have so much laundry to do... Had a c section but that was a couple of years ago (around 4 years ago). Im lost. Along with this I also have heavy periods.

I have a doctors appointment scheduled but it is not till 2 more months as there are no vacancies?

Anyone have this issue ? Or have any ideas on what might be causing this? and more importantly how to solve this! This is causing lots of anxiety! Help!

A PCP appointment sooner is your best bet. You’re probably waiting the two months to see your Gynec. See a primary care physician and get basic lab work etc done. It probably will ease your mind.
Regarding your sudden symptoms with your period - both physical and psychological, it is not unheard of for women in mid to late 30s/early 40s to suddenly start having PMDD. It’s a severe form of pms and can be overwhelming. You should talk to your pcp soon about all of your symptoms and follow her medical guidance. PMDD can last until menopause and can be very hard on women so don’t shy away from discussing this with your doctors. The problem with online forums are that none of us are medical doctors. Even if someone is, they don’t have your history or your blood work to analyze everything. You have been struggling for months and months like this. It’s now in your best interest to start seeking professional help. Whatever is being said here is only a temporary fix. Please accept that there is a problem and go to your PCP ASAP. You shouldn’t be waiting two months to see a doctor when your symptoms are worsening. You should also not be relying on the forums to provide you with medial answers. It’s dangerous and detrimental to your health. I urge you to please seek medical help.

Look for another doctor that can see you sooner. In the meantime you can get incontinence underwear and start doing Kegels pelvic floor exercises.

You should consult doctor as soon as possible. You may get appointment with family clinic or primary care physician.
There are many walk in clinics too. Its ok to visit doctors now. They follow covid protocols well.

For the current problem, try to go to toilet every 1-2 hours. Reduce water intake after 6.00 pm. You can also buy underwears/ incontinence pads for this purpose. Its available in stores like walmart or Amazon

Yes , I am going to get a doctors appointment.. I understand people on this forum are not doctors but it would be nice to have a second opinion as I have realized we all need a second opinion in addition to doctors advice too.

It would be irresponsible for anyone to give you anything other than general advice without knowing your medical history.

The option of seeking immediate medical help from a PCP is essentially for you to get such a second opinion, albeit from a professional.

A second opinion is something that you seek after you go to a qualified medical professional first. And that’s also better coming from a professional in the field. Posting on the forum isn’t an alternative for either of those options. You’ve got a lot of opinions from various posters in the past months. That is the limit of what you can get from a forum. It’s irresponsible of members to continue giving you opinions when your medical issues are varied and intertwined.

An occupied wait is shorter than un unoccupied wait -- is well known to service providers with waiting rooms. Doctors, Barbers and Dentists make you sit in their waiting rooms and provide you with non-controversial magazines. You browse through them, and before you know it, you will have blood pool up in your ankles, and the blood pressure around your elbow will be low when the doctor actually measure that.

Web-MD, or some social internet forum where members could prescribe a tonic made from Fenugreek and Turmeric for pretty much all ailments, are like those waiting room magazines. OP could browse until the day of the doctor's appointment.

Here is some ancient history that the OP could enjoy while sipping fenugreek tea:

    :roflmao::roflmao:
You are hinting at a lot here. Things that haven’t been said or intended :shakehead::shakehead:
We are collectively more than the fenugreek/turmeric tonic prescribers. Hence the opinion on seeking the appointment sooner!!
