Pfizer, Moderna and a single shot J&J have been approved for use here. The delivery is still random unless the place you go to has only one brand available.

Did you meet the current eligibility for the vaccine availability?
Schedule not yet open in my county. I have been told to try the pharmacy or kroger/publix at the end of the day to check for any vaccines left for the day.
Have you all got the vaccine the same way or you wee eligible for the current criteria?

Today my husband has received j&j shot and I got my second dose Pfizer. One of my friend and her husband also has got j&j last month.

J&J is as effective as Pfizer according to scientists. Those gap in efficacy numbers fueling some people’s perception that the Johnson & Johnson Covid-19 vaccine isn’t as good. According to scientists these numbers can’t be fairly compared to one another. The efficacy levels of the Covid-19 vaccines are specific to the clinical trials that produced them, and those trials were not conducted in the same ways.

To gauge how well vaccines work, companies test them in several stages, looking to ensure they are safe, to find the correct dose, and to figure out how much protection they provide. These trials are designed to test vaccines individually, not to pit them against each other. The fact that these vaccines were tested in different ways at different times is why it’s so hard to make comparisons. You cannot compare trial results like that unless they were done in a head-to-head fashion.

Which vaccine to take is totally a personal/family decision. I watched n no of videos to understand the concept. In simple words, I can tell you not to compare apples with oranges.....ie...moderna n pfizer were developed when variants did not exist hence more efficacious whereas J/J was developed much later when variants started....But all the 3 vaccines are FDA approved and 100% effective in preventing the severity of the virus.

I would base my decision after considering personal reasons hence would suggest the same to you. Good luck.
