Hair grows from inside..the root is new..

Hair dye is external..Many people say do not dye as your hair will become more white..

Does the hair dye seep inside and make the hair from the root as white hair?

    How is that even possible..

After hair wash..if there is more white hair, maybe follicles lost pigment due to age or other factors..

    isn't it so?

Pigmenting the hair comes from your genes. Check back with your mother, grandmother, aunts, and so on and find out at what age they started greying, or developing bald spots. There are cells that cause hair-pigmentation, located in your scalp. These cells age, die and thus lose their ability to cause pigmentation in the hair. Hair goes grey (low levels of pigment loss) to white (ultimate level of pigment loss).

Natural aging as well as whatever toxicity induced aging of the pigment-causing cells by the chemicals in the dye go on to produce more grey and white. There are a number of scientific studies/publications on this subject. You can google and read.

We often see white haired people (both guys and girls) have really black (often bushy) eyebrows. Someone like Kajol (Mukherjee) would go on to be an old lady with such an appearance. There are many such people in Greece and Turkey -- dark bushy eyebrows and white/bald head. Body hair is different from hair on the scalp; you can easily see that under a microscope, when samples are laid side-by-side on a glass specimen holder.

As to the ponder on (cloth) covered hair vs uncovered hair, observe when you go to beaches in summer time. In cultures where head cover in public is the norm, their hair is still going grey or falling off when they age.

Good quality dye doesn’t cause your hair to turn white. If you have a lot of gray and you use a permanent color then your roots will grown in white and the difference with the previously colored portion of your hair will be more distinct: the so-called skunk line. This is more dramatic with dark hair.

    :hello:
In twenty years time kidney and heart gets damaged in their efficiency on account of taking BP Tabs, why not the same medicines in a slow and steady manner affect the hair blacking mechanisms.

In India Godrej is more popular in three shades. The company used to have cricketer Gavaskar as model for this product.

    Another popular brand is

(I understand that first time dyeing of hair to be done professionally as it involves techniques. Mistakes in dyeing seemed to be cause for other problems like skin allergy, blurring of vision and so on).

I think this is a myth. We will only notice the new gray hair once the hair dye wears off, it creates an illusion of a link between dyeing and gray hair. Gray hair is influenced by aging, genetic factors, stress, race, smoking, certain health conditions. I had started coloring my hair in my early 20s and I noticed gary hair almost the same age as when my siblings got. Usually ammonia-free or which does not contain harsh chemicals in hair color and sulfate-free or less sulfate percentage or which does not contain harsh chemicals in shampoos are best for hair.

I have tried Shahnaz Husain colourveda it didn't give me a good result, color didn't stay for long also I felt it is nothing but the henna feeling. I also have tried Schwarzkopf ammonia-free one which made my hair rough and dry.

I am using these at present and they are good. Get sample and you could give it a try.
