I tried decluttering clothes too..used some worn out bath towels for dusting ...replaced with fresh unused towels.. wearing some of my old kurtis and Tshirts at home , and kept aside many of my older clothes to donate to needy people ..hopefully my wardrobe would be more organized after this.

:hello: Spic & span, ships’s shape, Apple pie order, shine & sheen, lustre and glint, glossy & glisten, odour free, jasmine fragrance in air, neat arrangements like ikebana all this comes to mind when one writes or thinks about perfection at home.

But to me only my spouse comes to mind. The more she aims for it, the more trouble I have - rather gripped with fear of catching severe cold or and. headache. Even if she orders once in a while the maid to clean dirt off windows doors etc, I used to suffer fear because very next day the maid will remain absent and I will have to wear the cap of maid. Even if spouse engages in big cleaning operation, invariably next day I turn full fledged home maker & cook.

There is hardly any edifice or place in the universe where perfection of above description can be seen on permanent basis. Kids like disorder and destruction and enjoy chaotic state. With kids around there is no question of aiming for perfection at home.

The only person bothered about perfection all the time are few agile spouses.
Once maid cleaned the table chair and other furniture in my son’s room. When He returned from outdoor work rushed to his room & returned to hall shouted “ who wiped the table and land telephone clean?” Our maid responded, “Anna (elder brother) ! I only wiped the dirt off”.

“OMG- I wrote in dirt an important telephone number” he tapped four times his forehead.

Perfection in destruction & destruction in perfection both are enjoyable.
