Fantastic week. Enjoyed thoroughly. Both the cooks and comaalis rocked. But I feel this week the clear winner is Bala. 3 weekla serial fame lam poiduchu, eliminate panna 7 perum whatsapp group aarambichu thitraanga and many many more ha ha ha ha..
Comaali maari cook was a funny wordplay by manimegalai. Indha week kannula thanni vara alavu sirichen. Pona rendu vaarathukku nallave eedu kattittanga. Editing kum nalla irundhdudhu. Felt bad for rithika. But ava irundha 3 weeks nalla fun a irundhudhu.
Cooking wise shakila and baba baskar kalakkittanga. Going by their previous performances, Traditional, rustic, South Indian style cooking lam rendu perukkume nalla varudhu. Plus they are able to give many items within the given time frame. Kani also is excellent in such cooking and she also manages time well. Idhukku ellam mela she is a very sweet personality. She knows the hindrance and adhu pathi alattikkama vela seyyara. Nice attitude. Indha vaaram if she was there kalakkiruppa. I feel she is adaptable too. Hope she tries at home some other cuisines too. Like how these three are good in traditional cooking ashwin is good in continental. But I feel he also must prepare himself for traditional South and North cooking. He is week in these areas according to me Last three episodes his performance hasn't been great. Even though pavi comes to elimination face off week after week I feel she has improved and tries to bring many dishes to the table. Innum konjam hard work potta mela varalam.
Awesome episodes. But somehow I feel these people have really responded to the negative comments. Bhat repeatedly said in the episode that these are fun and the comalis's screams are just acting. Ashwin and shivaangis scenes were more. Shakila apologised to sunitha. Kani was also criticised for supporting sunitha, so this week she supported ashwin and shivaangi pair by hinting ippo theridha paasam. Master kooda shivaangi kitta perusa vechukkala. Seeing all this oru pakkam kashtama irukku, people are so fanatic about few contestants that they take it out on others and invariably the people in the show have to respond. Sunitha shakila thittinadhukku azhudha pola paavam. Avalukkum public criticism for dancing with ashwin was more. She still gifted the karandi sweet girl. But dance a cut panni vittutanga. She looked very beautiful as durai amma. Shivaangi was also very cute. In fact avalum paavam dhan. Majority public support irundhalum, andha support naalaye baaki perkitta ketta per ayidudhu. She just did her part. Oru fun show va kooda serious aaki vitturranga sila per. Hope things get sorted out and the show ends without public outrage on the cooks and comalis and also without any bad blood between contestants.

What a week!
Truly compensated this week for the last three weeks mediocre performance!

What I liked:

Ashwin Mani pair- The tom and Jerry Pair
The way Mani was trying to overact like Shivaji (by beating herself in the thighs)..HIlarious!
Bala did exactly like Raghuvaran...His body language and dialogues were too good
The Advantage task- Soppu Saman. Very creative ..Room pottu Yosippangalo!
Shivangi trying to give Dill leaves to Master and Master's reaction to it
Shivangi dint want Ashwin and Sunita to dance..she screamed that kids will watch while fellow contestants mentioned that she herself is that kid
Rithika is so damn cute...Paathukitte irukkalam pola. Sad that she had to leave the show
The way Ashwin looked at Shivangi during Sunita - Shivangi dance. Etho irukku pa
Pavi is extremely good these days, very poised...and her choice of dishes were good too..She dint drape the saree well today.
Kani looked so lakshanam in that saree...Mookum Muzhiyuma semma lakshanam this kani is
Dhamus entry ..semma kool..

Dint like:
Shakeela scolding Sunita. Poor girl, its not easy to balance the stick for so long, also almost every team lost the balance atleast once
Who gave Master the rights to carry Sunita? Sunita is one poor soul who is not treated well .It was very sweet of her to get a gift for Ashwin .
Why is Sharath needed? Poor guy , he is another one comali who is wasted in the show
Ashwin not performing well these days! I dont like it! He should concentrate more on traditional dishes as well!

One thing I have to mention, this Chef Dhamu is a waste judge is very insulting to the contestants when he comments on dishes. He also doesn't have a sense of what the cooks are trying to do and where the approach went wrong. Bhatt has to come and fix Dhamu's comments.

Also, for Chef Dhamu, you give him mutton and he will say wow, top notch ( as long as the mutton is cooked properly and salt is there ). You won't get the same comment for paneer or continental / italian dishes. Since Bhatt doesn't eat non-veg, the educational comments we get from Bhatt goes missing and the results also get skewed.

Shakeela has been solely suriving on mutton and chicken. Baba Baskar took a cue from that book and cooked two mutton dishes I think and got appreciation from Dhamu.

I think Ashwin and Kani has been the ones who have been truly versatile in the show and Pavi also giving some good dishes from time to time.

IMHO, its not Ashwin's fault. Dhamu has to raise up to his level to give a proper judgement.

Also, when Bhatt hits of pokes some one, he does it with respect and understand the nature of what he is doing. There is no disrespect for the Comali. Dhamu off late has thought that is a fun and cool to do and has been rude to comalis. His slapping of Mani was in bad taste. He has also been slapping other comalis. In fact ones Dhamu accused Pugaz/Shivangi of cheating and Pugaz immediately put his foot down and said, "indha mahiri emathuradhu ellam enakkum en thangachi kkum varadha". This was during the "pure soals" comment last episode I think.

On the positive side as you all said, show was awesome. Mani rocket, Bala and Rithika used the opportunity well ( in fact I think Rithika lost time due to the entertainment factor which led to her making rasam, that eventually was her downfall ). Pugaz and Baba baskar had fun on the Mari episodes, Shivangi shined in several places, Ashwin finally carrying Baba baskar in the end after Baba baskar carried him was funny.

Bhatt's Baasha paaru baasha paaru was too funny.

I think there will be couple more of the re-runs of this show for me. Will come and post more after I watch it a second time.

Bang on for your observations wrt Non Veg dishes. Only Non veg dishes seems to be an easy ticket to impress . IN fact in one of the episode when Kani chose potato as the main dish and it dint go well with Damu, Pugal did mention to Kani about something similar (that non veg would work well).

i too felt bad whem chef Damu slapped mani.i felt mani was shocked .unnecessary.
i would suggest mani to maintain a distance.Even in one episode ( mani pulled his leg calling him junior ) he didnt like it and he said overa pora or something. it looked like he was serious.
