But the relative in question lives in same city as us...she may invite for lunch and evening snacks only...so it's a local commute not outstation travel...in fact thy have a few relatives who live outstation and invited them to stay..but conveneniently they are not travelling.. because it will give me a lot of relief which they cant afford.

We are in India, and the 2 vaccines Covishield and Covaxin are both approved but so far only health care workers have received it...common poeple are yet to receive...after seeing news reports of few people having adverse reactions they are hesitating to register..need convincing...I think we need more positive reports and postive vibes from prominent personalities assuring vaccine safety, once this is available I'll do my best to make them register and get it done...
They're reluctant now, but if other friends and relatives take it they can influence...
But main challenge is providing vaccine to such huge population...it may take some months...
That's ok as these things take time, but the point is,
Till then they shouldn't be in a hurry to do risky things like meeting relatives who are already not in a safe environment...

Does anyone have any idea when vaccination will be rolled out to common citizens in India? Currently healthcare workers are getting the vaccines...when will registration process start? Once things get streamlined I too can convince the elders to get it done.
Anyone working in healthcare industry or knows someone who can give some approximate estimate like how vaccine will be provided to common citizens especially seniors and when?
