    Hi Everyone
    I got the answer for the 4th question from an Archive of Oppiliyappan By Shri.Madhavan Ramabhadran.
    Now Why we do Maa Vilakku for Lord Sri Venkateswara...

    The significance of the Purattasi Sanikkizhamai Maavilakku, I have the following to say :

    This is an Age Old Tradition. God of The Seven Hills, Who Stands all the
    time to Bless His Bhakthas during the Kali Yuga, wants to get as close to
    them as possible. It is very difficult for all, especially the old,
    disabled, financially weak, the children etc to visit the GREAT ABODE OF
    LORD VENKATESWARA.

    So our elders have found many easy and practical methods of making it
    possible for ALL to have the Darsan of The Lord Venkateswara.

    In the Purattasi Satuday Maavilakku function the All Merciful Lord is
    invited to visit our homes in the JYOTHI SWARUPA and Bless all who are not able to visit the Seven Hills. The Maavilakku is verily the Lord and all
    of us can have the Divya Darsanam of Sri Ezhumalai Andavan and seek His
    Blessings for the entire Humanity. This tradition enters the Blood of the
    Children who follow this path of devotion when they become elders.

    When the Maavilakku is over we chant "GOVINDA GOVINDA GOVINDA " and do all necessary UPACHAARAMS and The Lord Returns to His Abode very happily for having been able to Bless His Bhaktas.

    That day we were very much happy because the jyothi took the image of
    Lord Venkateswara Himself..

    Sri- You guys are incredibly blessed that the LORD manifested Himself in Jyothi Swaroopa at home.

    Nimsri- Thanks a million. You have answered a question that has eluded me for a year. This being Puratasi, I am attending Thiruona Vilakku Samaradhanais almost every Saturday and in all poojas they have Maavilakku.But no one knew the reason. Thanks again.

    hai,wht's is Purattasi Satuday , is it a month or a day, i mean i dont understnad,can anybody explain, & is thr any procedure ,like we shld lit it these many(like 3 or 5 weeks) , ? & after litting,wht we shld do, shld we take it as prasadam or we ?? pls explain?
