Thanks for replying. Normal activities means can we make bed, do little work at home. Whole sitting on the bed makes really boring. If someone stays alone at home after embryo transfer how to manage house hold work without anyone..

My doctor's advice : continue healthy eating, drink loads of water, do normal activities, bed rest not advised, standing, walking, cooking, bathing, vessel washing, sweeping mopping etc household work have no effect on the embryo. You continue to travel to work by train bus etc. Embryo is super super small, less than the size of a dust particle. So even jumping will not affect it as its safe in your body. Having said that I am sure you won't jump around.
Conyinue your normal activities ,no need t9 do anything extra.
These are his words and I had success third time.
From my experience : embryo attaches n grows as long as it has the required genetic information to do. There's nothing you can do for it's success.
All the best. Stay positive that's it. Try to forget you had a transfer and keep yourself occupied with reading n household work.

You can do light activities. My doctor advised not to do any heavy weight lifting or vigorous exercise. Also nothing that will cause uterine contractions so no sex. Your clinic should give you the instructions.

This is bed instructions I followed. Had success with both my FETs. Good luck and lots of baby dust to you!

Here are CCRM’s bed rest instructions (you are required to be on bed rest on transfer day and the day after):

    Activity and Positioning:

    • In the car on your way home, position yourself in a reclined position in the front seat with your head lowered. Once you reach your destination, make yourself comfortable in bed, on a couch, or a recliner. You do not need to be flat on your back in bed but in a reclined position with your feet elevated to the level of your hips. You may keep your kneees bent. Your head should be elevated no higher than 45 degrees.
    • You may lay on your back or your side, NOT on your stomach. You can prop yourself with pillows.
    • Do not put anything hot on your abdomen such as a heating pad or a laptop computer.
    • During your bed rest, we prefer you do not use stairs unless you have no other options. One flight up/down per day is permissible.
    • It is recommended that you limit your activity. You may get up to use the restroom or get a quick snack. For meals, have food brought to you whenever possible.
    • NO sexual activity.
    Once Bed Rest is Over:

Continue with normal, light activity. You may travel once bed rest is over. You may walk, use stairs, and resume most normal activities with a few restrictions.

    • Short walks are OK but NO exercising! Avoid increasing your heart rate, becoming winded or short of breath.
    • Do not lift anything heavier than 10 pounds.
    • Do not overheat: no heat on abdomen, avoid exposure to extreme temperatures outdoors, no hot tubs, steam showers, or saunas.
    • Showers are OK, but do not submerse in water – no swimming pools or bath tubs.
    • Diet: Continue to eliminate all caffeine, nicotine, and alcohol. Eat a healthy diet, avoid undercooked meats.

Thanks @Deepsmara . Your post have been given lots of hope. Can we continue doing all the activities after 3rd or 4th day of embryo transfer? Not sure what whether embryo will implant in the uterus or not? Will definitely keep all your words in mind and continue the journey. Thanks again..

After embryo transfer is it really necessary to feel cramping and tightness around our lower abdomen? If you feel cramps, then implantation have occurred or else not? That means you are pregnant or else not pregnant? The body temperature also rise elevated after embryo transfer. Is it true? How to take bath after embryo transfer? Can we lift water in mug and put on body? How to avoid severe constipation after embryo transfer? Can anyone please help me..
