We have 2 chai pots. My wife uses first one in the morning to make chai, leaves it in the sink. She comes back home in the evening after work, uses the second pot to make chai. I am responsible for dishes.

Every night, I get tired to see two dirty chai pots. They are hard to clean because my wife likes chai made of pure milk (no water) and the milk sticks to the pot. How to easily clean the chai pots? Soaking in water is not helping.

Ask her to soak in hot soap water each time. If the milk is getting burnt on the pot it will be difficult to clean. You could also try getting a nonstick pot.

Nonstick pots is a good idea.... however...however...
I would recommend some mental-floss for you: Read posts in this thread: What Has Your Spouse Done That You Cherish The Most?
When you are done reading the posts, you might wonder how very little a guy has to exert to have the girl in his life go the longish distance with him. Perhaps you would want to wash a few more teapots with caked-in milkscum.

Here is something to make up for the emotional sidetrack:
Scotch-Brite Never Scratch Pads are good to scrub nonstick pots.

This is off topic. You don't know what I "exert" every day.

Ok, I will consider it. Ours are steel pots.

Was she responsible for the dishes when she was a housewife? If so, she should know how hard it is to clean chai dishes.

Even for steel pots, soaking immediately after use is important and helps immensely.

If these are older pots and you dont care about scratches, get metal scrubbers. so easy to clean stubborn residues.

Check out small electric scrubbers to help with elbow grease.

chai vessels are indeed tricky and tiring to wash..
I feel you’re not using stainless steel utensils, soaking them in afterbirth and using a steel scrubber helps a lot...
Else use pots made of non stick or ceramic material to boil milk, make tea etc..
I personally don’t prefer to use non stick, but my neighbour uses ceramic vessels to boil milk and she had recommend due to ease in using and washing..
