    Any chocoholics out there?

Do you luv luv luv chocolate but don't like processed, store bought sweets?

Perhaps you are crunched for time and cannot cook.

Please share your chocolate hacks. How do you satisfy your chocolate tooth in the most healthy, time efficient way possible.

    I'll start.

For frosting mix one part cold-pressed coconut oil, one part honey and one part bakers cocao. You got frosting. You can eat as is.

Another variant for hot cocao is one part cold-pressed coconut oil, one part honey, three parts bakers cocao. Mix and the add boiling cup of milk.

Everyone is on a roll with the food threads!!

This is a chocolate pudding recipe that I found on some food blog. It’s chocolatey and easy.

Put a can of coconut milk in the fridge overnight. The canned coconut milk with set into coconut cream on top and the water at the bottom. Remove the coconut cream into a bowl. Discard the water. Blend it well with a hand blender. To this add 1/4 cup of cacao powder or any kind of cocoa powder you have on hand. Add in honey or maple syrup or any other sweetener of choice. Blend it all well into a fluffy pudding and refrigerate. I heard it can be kept in the fridge for a while but it usually doesn’t last more than a day . I had the video saved somewhere. I’ll share it if I find it.

The best way for me is to buy artisan chocolate bars from boutique manufacturers. We have a wonderful chocolate shop in the city that makes truffles that looks like little works of art. They also offer chocolate making classes that I plan to take once things go back to normal.
My other favorite is Dandelion for bean-to-bar chocolate. DH brought home a box from visiting San Francisco once and I’ve been hooked ever since. Just a small nibble satisfies.

Ohhhhhhh coconut milk? I never tried it. I recently had coconut pieces (sold in a sealed bag in one of those Indian stores).

I bet this coconut - choco combination is dreamy (and creamy!)

Truffles taste like works of art. I love how some of them melt in your mouth.

And making chocolate sounds like fun. In a class setting at that. What do you gift the teacher of a chocolate-making class. Chocolate shaped as an apple???

I'm happy you are looking forward to the new year to come. This 2020 needs a hard reset!

    Chicken and chocolate. Mmmmkay!!!
